My name is Curtis Yost and I have been creating content for over twenty years. I never felt that I had enough life experience to talk about things. As I got older, I realized that having fun while writing was what I wanted to do and published my first series. American Isekai was a two year planned series that is now be writen every single day until I finish it. The books are completely character based on some of the most flawed people you could imagine to save the world. I'm proud of it and hope that when it ends, people will want to enjoy their own dark fantasies after.

Chapter 1
One shot, one kill . I grew up with the mindset that all men are created equal. The best way to test that was to put a bullet in their skull. Those words were imprinted upon me the second I was born.
My name was Sergeant Benjamin Ross. I have a single squad of twelve men. These men spend every day training hard to make me look good. My soldiers were the second-best thing in my life.
My first and only true love in my life was my wife and son. You could say when I was in the civilian world. I wanted to focus all my attention on them, but I had a hard doing that because of the best job in the whole world. Being a sergeant in the best military in the world, the United States Army. Hooah!
I was thirty-two years old when I became sergeant a year ago. I served this great nation in Iraq back in two thousand and four. I fought many battles against the insurgents. I came home alive.
The best way to start my story is to tell you about my life right before the deployment. My time in Iraq had ended, and I was sent to Okinawa, Japan, for my next duty station. The place was like Hawaii. The plant life was beautiful, and so were the women.
Okinawa was where I met my wife, Kimberly. We eventually had a son Johnny. My son was named after his great-grandfather, that served in World War two. The man was a beast that stormed the shores of Normandy. Only three men from his unit survived. He was one of the lucky ones, but the battle messed with his head for the rest of his life. He was a brave man who set the standard for the Ross family for a few generations.
I had a picture of Johnny Ross on my wall. He became a high-ranking officer in the United States Marines. Johnny Ross didn’t take shit from anyone and quit his duty station right before the Vietnam War. Right before he died. My grandfather claimed that the reason we lost Vietnam was because he wasn’t there. He was tough as nails to the very end. The stresses of life eventually got to him, and he had a heart attack. He died at the at of seventy-nine.
I met my lovely wife Kimberly while stationed at Fort Buckner. The base was right outside Okinawa, Japan. I could still smell the flowers and enjoy the tropical sun. I loved how peaceful everything always was. I definitely loved how the women would flock all over us American boys. The women would spend time just watching us while we were hanging out off duty. You need to meet a beautiful woman from Okinawa.
The way I met my wife was really nothing special. The place was a bar called the Galaxy Bar. I would go there to listen to the bands that played. Some bands were decent enough to listen to. The back of the stage had these weird black-and-white squares for tiles. Each tile was different than the one next to it. The tiles looked like they were falling off the wall. The wall looked way different when the strobe lights turned on.
The tables were round wooden with a nice polish on it, and were rather small. The people that lived there were so small that I looked like a giant. The tables barely went up to my stomach. Since most clients were small Asian people, I had to adapt to my environment. The four sides of the table that we drank at didn’t have chairs. They had these tiny barstools that my ass kept sliding off of. The atmosphere was perfect for me. I really did enjoy it. My best memory there was meeting my wife.
The bar had a weird blue cube that illuminated above. The bartender was a nice guy who did his best to learn English for the soldiers, but it was more broken than smashed guitar. I actually met my wife under that cube. Kimberly was a native of Okinawa. She lived in a small village called Higashi Village.
The Higashi Village had a Hawaii-type feel to it. The people were laid back. As long as you respected their culture, they would befriend you. I couldn’t count how many people wished me many good wishes. I think that was good health. I wasn’t sure if it was like a wishing well thing. I always smile and give a small bow saying, Thank you.
One of the best things there was the kayaking. I would swim in the clean water and then get out and kayak the next day. I actually remember when I met Kimberly’s parents. Kimberly’s mom liked me, but her father always gave me a death stare. She brought me home because we had been going out for three weeks. Her mom was impressed that I was a strong American boy that her daughter found. Her father felt I should have asked for his blessing before we started going out. I didn’t even know that was a thing. Kimberly’s mom even told her husband it wasn’t a thing anymore.
I will tell you how I met her in the Galaxy bar. I was at the bar under the blue cube buying a local beer. I can’t remember the beer’s name, but I found it delicious. To be honest, I don’t think I could even spell it. I would point at the bottle on the wall, and the bartender would pull it out like magic.
I stood at the bar, waiting for him to finish topping my beer. My wife came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder. She said in her best English, Hi, I’m Kaori. It means fragrance.
Kimberly was so beautiful that I froze for a second. I mean, she was knocked out. She wore a sleeveless shirt with the name of the band playing that night. Her hair looked wild and fun. Her shorts were perfectly trimmed to not show her ass, but you could see the frame of it. I could tell her butt was very spankable. I liked that. Mix that in with the high heels to get closer to my high and the modest amount of makeup. I closed my eyes and shook my head a bit. I blinked twice. Nothing changed; she looked so beautiful under the blue lighting.
The blue box made me look like shit. I was wearing my Army uniform. I hadn’t had a haircut in two weeks. I was planning on getting one the next day. I had met this incredibly attractive woman and put in zero effort.
I said, Hi, I’m Ben. It means Ben.
I felt like such a loser. I fell in love at first sight. I wanted to know more about her. The bartender handed me my beer in my right hand. Kaori grabbed my left hand and brought me to the dance floor. I wanted to dance even though I danced like a walrus in heat. I couldn’t get my groove on with the lack of room between the tables and the stage.
I quickly took a sip of my beer and sat it down with the two privates I came with. I believe their names were Jones and Miller. The two were wild children in my squad. I could hear them cheering me on as I proved that white men have no natural rhythm. I was there more for their amusement.
The guys would try to get me to go out with them at the time. I was Specialist class. That would be the fourth rank. That title means you know what you’re doing and better get it done right. I was equal to all the other privates. I wish I had power, but I am just a guy that did his best so these guys would play hard.
Even though I couldn’t dance well. I danced on the floor with Kimberly. I spent the whole time wishing I was smooth like McJaggar. I was clearly not. I stepped on her feet numerous times. I felt so bad. She got a blister on the top of her foot from dancing with me. She just kept laughing about my two left feet.
Miller was off on the side taking pictures with his flip phone. He took those photos and showed the guys in the barracks. I was humiliated, but it helped build morale, so I did nothing about it. At least I tried to dance. He sat there sipping his bear and didn’t even try to meet a girl.
I said, Miller, get your ass out here on the floor.
The music was from a hard rock band that was more headbanger than dance. I still tried to sway to it. The musicians were laughing at me. I could hear a few notes skipped as I tried to tango with her to headbanger music.
Miller said, No thanks, bro. I’m not drunk enough yet.
Miller reached over and stole my beer. He guzzled down the whole thing. I don’t even think he swallowed once. The beer just slid right down. Everyone knew he would use that GI Bill to its full drunk ability when he got out.
I walked over and said, You drank my damn beer.
I was mad. I had just paid for that beer. Miller just had a shit-eating grin on his face. He left out a large burp. I could smell the pungent odor from six feet away.
Miller said, I had to drink it, bro. I need you to be able to get your shit up for the young lady tonight.
I looked back at Kaori. She just smiled and waved her right hand at me. I realized that I wasn’t making a good first impression. I was lucky, though. She ignored all my nonsense. Kaori just thought I was cute and liked my muscles. She told me once that I was a buffoon but had a little charm. Normally, she wouldn’t have given a man a second chance, but stars told her to date me.
I dated my wife for three months. Kimberly was adventurous and outgoing. She wanted to see the world. She wanted to see the world with me. At night, we would lie outside and talk while watching the stars. There was something magical about them. I would always try to find the one that flickered the most. My wife would try to find the strange designs in them. Those were the moments when we were at our deepest.
The army felt I was stationed in Okinawa for too long. I was enjoying my stay but was required to change my duty station. I had no choice if I wanted to go to NCO school. I was the next in line for a promotion, but that would require me to leave Kaori behind. Before being shipped to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, I knew what to do.
I wasn’t about to leave her behind in Okinawa. So after only three months of dating, I decided to get married. The army gave me a little time to do it. I even used up some of my leave to accomplish the goal. I went to her father’s house one night and asked his permission. I will never forget the death stare I got. After not asking the first time, I knew I had to this time. He didn’t approve of me but set aside his feelings for his daughter’s sake. Her father felt that it was more important to get her into America and be a citizen of Japan. He just wanted better opportunities for her and always wanted to visit America but never had a way in. So he approved of the marriage.
Kimberly and I got married at Aqualuce Chapel in Okinawa. I was excited to be getting married. My heart raced a million times a minute. I wished my family could have been there. My family was in the United States. They decided it would be too far for a wedding and have yet to show. Especially since they thought I was too young to settle down. My mother didn’t believe the marriage would work and only used me to enter the States.
I was outside the chapel looking up. The building was beautiful. The outside, though, threw me off. If you looked a the doorway. The doorway looked like many vibrator tips stacked like a Russian doll. Miller said that at my wedding, and I could never forget it.
I walked in, and I swear half her village was there. My family would have had no room to sit. On both sides of the chapel were stained glass windows with yellow and green tiles. The front was a beautiful large window. That also looked like the tip of a vibrator but shined into the chapel.
My wife was beautiful that day. Kimberly walked down the aisle in her sun dress. The veil covered her face, and she tried to blow it away. The veil kept making her nose itchy. She was clearly as nervous as me. Standing in front of all those people was really nerve-racking.
White flowers were on the end of each pew. There was a rope blocking off people from getting into the center aisle. A blue glass floor was in the center of the aisle. The floor reflected Kaori and me onto it. The reflection went up her dress and you could everything. Luckily, the Japanese people weren’t looking too closely because I could see up her dress. I never told her about that.
I said my vows before her village. I was wearing my army greens. I had on my beret and tried not to sweat so much in my uniform. There were pit stains at one point, but I didn’t recognize them until the reception.
Kaori had a white dress that felt a little big on her. She was only five foot two inches. Since we had to rush the marriage a bit, I felt bad she never got a proper fitting. She always admired the dress and had a specialist on hand to box and preserve the integrity of the dress.
Chapter 2
After the wedding, we didn’t have time to go on a honeymoon. I had to report to Fort Bragg in three days. I had to make sure all my stuff and anything she wanted to bring was packed. Ready to be hauled overseas. I had like three pairs of shorts and three shirts for civies. My gaming console was the only thing I had that wasn’t army essential. When you are a bachelor in the army. You will live light all the time.
Kaori and I got on the plane with all our stuff. She thought it was weird that we put our stuff directly in the belly of the plane. She had never seen this before. We were flown to Fort Bragg. The flight was over twenty hours long. That wasn’t including the time in the airport to refuel.
Kaori was fidgety the whole way. She was excited to finally come but nervous to leave the home she lived in all her life. I gave her the window seat, and she stared at the clouds. Watching the clouds close by like that was amazing. I also gave her liquid courage to help her nerves. She was always a happy drunk, so watching her was amazing.
My wife finally got to see America. She was completely out of her element. She wasn’t sure what to think of America. The hustle and bustle was new to her. Kaori lived in a quiet village, and the base was loud. She also hated Asian food in America, so she cooked every night.
I was so tired from the flight. Since I had a spouse now, I could afford housing in Charlotteville, North Carolina. We rented a two-bedroom apartment. The apartment wasn’t in great shape, but the neighborhood was safe. We were going to do base housing, but I was given one when we saw the place. The place was in shambles, so we found a place a few days later. We didn’t have a lot, so she enjoyed the hotel. The place had a pool and a jacuzzi. She spent way too much time in the jacuzzi. I was coming home, and she was still warm from it when I gave her a hug.
As time went by, the adventure of America wore off. My wife kept asking herself what she got herself into. The noise was bad. Especially since we lived close to an airport. The living arrangements weren’t as nice as her house in Japan. All she knew was that she was allowed to live in the greatest country in the world.
Kaori got fed up with people not knowing how to pronounce her name. So she changed it to Kimberly. I told her about a superhero show I had seen as a child named Kimberly. She wanted to be a mom so bad that having a superhero’s name would be great, just like the animes she watched as a kid. I had to research what a Mech was because she kept bringing it up.
After I understood most of the lingo, I sat down and watch the anime with her. I even learned to speak Japanese, so we could watch the shows without subtitles. The translations for those shows were always off from the actual dialogue. Learning the language helped me to better communicate with Kimberly at times. Sometimes she couldn’t figure out stuff people were saying. I would be her personal translator at times. The guys
