About this ebook
The human mind has a great potential. The inventive genius, and the desire for discovery separates humanity from all other animals. Where did humans get this ability to reason? In this book we'll discover a seed planted into the psyche of every human. We'll look into another very important seed that affects our spiritual growth. It's very important that we understand what these seeds represent. Jesus used seeds to illustrate a very important message. The message Jesus delivered needs to be understood; the message is the key to everlasting life! So what has a Crown of Thorns to do with the message of Jesus? In the book you will read scriptures that explain what the thorns and the two seeds represent. If you undertake any gardening you will know the importance of planting the correct seed. You will also know the importance of weeding the garden. Jesus used these gardening duties to symbolise the work he was to do in the world. Jesus used these symbols to spread the gospel message.

Born in the UK following the second world war and experiencing the post war hardships along with many families. My memories of playing on bombed out buildings and growing in a world without mobile phones and the Internet are distant now. Somewhere and somehow I felt the presence of God in my life. For too many years I never fully committed to finding out about the God that I had heard about. Eventually I moved to Perth in Western Australia, where I am living today with my wife. We have four adult married children and fourteen grandchildren. I am an artist in the mediums of Oil and Acrylic. Art has been my hobby since retiring from paid work. My wife and I are Christians and I enjoy facilitating the Church services and events. Along with my wife we are fully committed to the word of God as written in the Bible from beginning to end.

Recently I heard an appropriate message regarding the times we live in. It was a warning for Christians to stay alert. The speaker mentioned a cabal of the elitist seeking to control the population. Thankfully, the speaker finished the message with some positive and encouraging scriptures. Christians have more enemies in the world than we can point a stick at, repeating one of my mum’s sayings. I’m writing about another type of enemy, different from the ones we know about. Oh! don’t we have enough enemies already? Yes, we do. There are lots of enemies in the world. This enemy is a seed planted in the heart of all people. We can only expose this hidden enemy when we acknowledge it’s real. When we recognize this adversary, we find it’s buried deep in the human psyche. This defect that we all have within our soul distorts or hides the gospel message. We’re all exposed to this dark force, yet most people are unaware of the presence. This enemy is deceptive. If we recognize that this dark force has deceived us, we can open our eyes and avoid further deception. So the obvious question is, can people recognize what this adversary is and how to deal with it?
We all know that the real enemy is Satan. He is a murderer and wants to blind potential children of God; he’s seeking to destroy the Church. Many people don’t realize that Satan is the most ruthless enemy of all, believers and non-believers alike. Today, there is large-scale worldwide persecution against Christians. My question is, can Satan force people to persecute Christians? Can he force people to kill? The answer is no! Satan can’t force people against their will. What is it that drives people to kill Christians? What is it that drives people to do any harm to another person? We find the answer to that question in the devious strategy Satan initiated a very long time ago. That all sounds like bad news, but Jesus has overturned the satanic plan. Jesus is the gardener; he has been preparing a garden like Eden.
