The Operation of God is the process of being furnished with all things necessary for salvation. It is only made possible by your willingness to operate in faith. The Operation of God is initiated and demonstrated through baptism. As you go beneath the water you are symbolizing the burial of Jesus Christ, thus coming into submission to the divine will of God. When you emerged from the water it represented the resurrection of our Savior, you have risen with Him to live a new life in faith.

Col. 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

It is through the working of your faith that you will fulfill your purpose in God. By Jesus' complete sacrifice and the will of God to reconcile all, you have through Christ everything that is necessary to walk worthy of the vocation for which you are called.
