Having become obsessed with supernatural folklore and the world of horror from an early age, Lee has spent years studying tales of the occult and immersing himself in stories of otherworldly phenomenon. He’s also the owner of a number of vampire and horror-related groups in Facebook, where fellow fans of the supernatural come together to celebrate and discuss all things paranormal.  His debut novel, Voodoo Mambo, blends high-stakes action and shadowy agencies with a dark underworld of demonic creatures and their insidious plots to attack humanity. Chapter One

    The Arrival

The three hundred-meter long sky blue starship called Blue Goose launched out of the spacetime shortcut called Hyperloop and into the Mothdorian solar system. Amidst a constellation of stars in the background, a blue colored ball of sunlight shone ever so brightly into the gray starry ambience. Several plate-shaped rocks the size of volleyballs, some almost the size of  basketballs dotted the trajectory in which the Blue Goose sailed in the low-light emptiness. The rocks bounced off on the starship’s sleek surface, some even hit the vital places like the rocket-propelled fans and gunports, but they just crashed into little tiny pieces that evaporated into the thin cosmic air.

Blue Goose, the Capital’s first efficient transplanetary/multiversal patrol starship, comprised a battalion of soldiers plus personnel onboard. Each handling the inner workings of the massive spacecraft. And amongst them, old and cutting-edge robots from Tekynos with large brain function to handle a bazillion of activities on any given space craft served as support for the human personnel and officers. With its multifaceted function, the robots not only assist the humans, but also make the necessary decisions that sometimes bordered on life and death situations.

This was a transplanetary/multiversal patrol starship, designated to spend a lot of time in the frontier worlds. It was certain that they could encounter a lot of trouble on this voyage.

To the men and women and robots inside the massive starship, the Mothdorian solar system is one of the systems yet to strike an alliance with the Capital, although several councils from the planets inside the universe were still in the process of signing the treaty, they had stipulated in their agreement that to become part of Lumenia’s growing member planets there is the need to have security on their yet-to-be-stable planet. The council members in Lumenia had agreed and sent a battalion of troops, starfighters, and patrol starships. The Blue Goose is the first to make it into the Mothdorian system, but it wasn’t going to be the last. Several more were on the way. Its primary job for now was to patrol round the system in roving-style in order to explore the planets and gather intelligence of the enemy’s whereabouts.

Currently their destination was to the Mothdorian planet Sysix, the first of the known twenty inside the system so
