This book is dedicated to the memory of Jabari 3/27/04 - 6/8/07. You gained your wings way too early, but your mark on my heart lives on.
This book is also dedicated to my other sons, Jaylen and Dujuan. I know life hasn’t always been perfect, but I hope you know that everything I do is for the two of you.
To my Aunt Alice and Uncle Boy thank you for always supporting me. Even when I fall on my face, you both are there to help me up, no questions asked.
To my homegirl Carlie, thank you for being there days, nights, and weekends to listen to me vent.
To my brother Smelly Shelly (inside joke) thank you for all your support.
To my significant other C.J, thank you for looking past my brokenness and seeing me for who I am!
