    Chapter 1

    In Wildflower Kingdom

    In a faraway place, in a faraway time, there once was a land called Wildflower Kingdom. It was called Wildflower Kingdom because, yes, there bloomed many kinds of beautiful wildflowers. Bright yellow sunflowers, red poppies, purple clover, blue colored bluebells, and others grew all around the kingdom.

    There were wild violets and buttercups, too. All through the spring and summer, the hillsides and meadows of the kingdom bloomed with color.

    Wildflower Kingdom was a very pretty place. For example, the sunrises in the kingdom were stunning. In fact, they almost named the kingdom Sunrise Kingdom, but that name was already taken by some other kingdom. Also, the moon shone big and bright each night, and so they wanted to name the place Moonbeam Kingdom, but that name was taken, too. And so they decided to name the kingdom after the wildflowers. Someone checked with all the other kingdoms, and the name Wildflower Kingdom was still available.

    A path leads to a castle that has many towers and spires. The path is surrounded by wildflowers. There is a big sun and many clouds in the sky.

    And so there were amazing wildflowers, sunrises, and night skies, but Wildflower Kingdom was beautiful for other reasons. During the day, the bright blue skies were dotted with cute, fluffy little clouds. Sparkling streams with wondrous waterfalls flowed through the grand hills and mountains. And growing with the wildflowers of violet, yellow, and pink, there was
