Through the eyes of a local

Pretty much every winter we head over to Kangaroo Island (KI) to appreciate the amazing wildlife and scenery when the bush is regenerating from a hot summer and the paddocks and hills are a verdant green. Previously, it’s just been the three of us. But this time we’ve brought one of our tween Lucy’s friends along for the annual pilgrimage.

We have three days and in order to maximise our time we decide to embark on one of the tours available through Kangaroo Island Odysseys. These all-inclusive packages are great value and we won’t hear a peep from the back seat about how long it is taking, not wanting to ‘go there’ or complaints about food options.
