This is Catherine Corey Keegan Dana, but everyone calls her Keeker.

Keeker is ten. She lives on a farm in Vermont with her parents, five dogs, three cats, a goat, two birds, and some tadpoles in a jar.

She has a best friend named Polly. And a sneaky pony named Plum.

All year Keeker looks forward to summer, because summers are SO fun. Keeker and Polly get together a couple of times a week to play dress-up, make forts, ride ponies, and go down to the lake to swim and eat ice cream. Summer-time goes by so quickly, Keeker tries to cram in as much as possible.
