PRELUDE
There‘s blue
There’s green
Then there's everything in-between
Who are we to decide where one or the other begin?
To me what I call green or blue
May be different to you
That’s fine
Maybe my world is a little bluer
Or was for a long time
Maybe when others saw a green glowing light
How I felt inside was duller
The undertone of my hues hidden by something stronger
Maybe we need elements of blue to become new again
Either way this book is a little blue
But kind of green too
There's a thin line between colours
And how they may intertwine
Each perception of colour unique and complete
I knew a girl who saw a new hue with every word we spoke
Every mood or thought
Who are we to change her mind?
Art is what we make of it
So I made a book called blue
And I hope it moves you like the ocean tides I floated in.
