Devotional Prayers
()
About this ebook
Inspired by the Biblical books of Esther, Daniel and Revelation, these prayers are a raw, authentic and inner plea to leave the past in His tomb. I began praying and fasting for 21 days to see God's inner healing and launch into His promised new beginnings, from which this devotional was birthed. I desire that this devotional will strengthen you to bring and shine out His love in all areas of your life.
I pray that as you read, you will be healed, cleansed, and set free from the chains of fear to pursue your God-given destiny wherever He leads you.

Devotional Prayers - Helena Igreja
Daniel Devotionals
Prayer 1
Lord God, I ask you to give me understanding in all visions and dreams as you gave to Daniel. (Daniel1:17)
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me, your mercy, oh Lord, endures forever, do not abandon the works of your own hands. (Psalms 138:8 KJV)
Prayer 2
Blessed be the name of God forever and ever; for wisdom and might are his.
He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings. He gives wisdom unto the wises, and knowledge to them that know understanding.
He reveals the deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness and light dwells in him I thank you and praise you, oh you God of my fathers, who has revealed me what I asked of you, for you have made me know what is in the heart of those called to serve. (Daniel 2:19–23)
Lord God, I ask for companions such as Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. (Daniel 2:17)
Lord, help me to be humble as Daniel, Joseph, and Moses, courageous as Esther, and a prophet and leader like Deborah.
Prayer 3
Father, I thank you that I am your treasure. I ask that the excellency of my power may be of You and not of me. I pray that in times of tribulation, persecution, sadness, and despair, that I may have a spirit like Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah and stand to all my enemies and proclaim:
That the God I serve is able to deliver me from my enemies’ hands, but even if he does not, I will not serve other gods or the images of gold set up before me. Help me to withstand against Satan’s anger.
Lord, when I am thrown in the blazing furnace, remind me that you promised to be with me until the end of times and beyond, for when I pass to the waters you will be with me, and through the rivers they will not overflow me, when I walk through the fire, I will not be burned up, the flames will not consume me. (Isaiah 43:2)
I ask that in those moments you will be my spring of living waters and you will immerse me in your living waters, satisfy my soul and needs and renew my mind and renovate my heart so that the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you. (Jeremiah 2:13, Psalms 19:14)
Let your waters come out from me as you promised in Ezekiel 47 to be a sign for the kings, queens, ministers, officials, politicians, bureaucrats, and all those that you called me to love and give your love (John 3:16) to walk with them to our Eternal Jesus, Christ, so that like Nebuchadnezzar, they will say: Praise be to the God of Manuela, who has sent his angels and rescued her servant! She trusted in him and defied my commands and she was willing to give up her life rather than serve or worship any other god than her own God. So that your name will be worshipped among nations and people. (Daniel 3:28)
Prayer 4
Father, let your spirit and presence be seen and acknowledged to be in me as you did with Daniel and help me to reveal the mysteries of the dreams and visions.
Help me to say the things that you want me to say, which is: You the Most High, you are sovereign over all kingdoms on earth, and you give power to whom you wish. Help me to fast and give me Esther’s boldness to say if I die, I die (Esther 4:16) and gently and humbly advise kings, queens, political and religious leaders of the day, officials and bureaucrats, and all that you call me to walk with in their spiritual walk to repent for their sins by doing what is right and forsake their wickedness by being kind to the poor and swallow their pride by accepting Jesus as their supreme commander in chief. (Daniel 4:24–27)
Prayer 5
Father, let it be said of me that your spirit is within me (as my name is Manuela, which means is within me,
and Helena, which means light, torch and Ferreira ironworker,
(God destroyer) and Igreja (your temple) that light, understanding, and wisdom—like your wisdom—is found in me. Your excellent spirit and knowledge and understanding, interpreting of dreams and shewing of hard sentences and dissolving doubts is upon me. (Daniel 5:11–12)
Father, help me to answer just like Daniel; let your gifts be for yourself and your rewards to another. I will interpret/work for you. (Daniel 5:17)
Father, help me to say: The Most High God gives kingdom, majesty, glory, and honour, but when hearts are lifted high, minds hardened in pride, he deposes them from their kingly throne and the glory is taken away from them.
Father, in the light of this, I pray for my children and grandchildren, all of my generation, including my nieces and nephews, and all of their generation and myself and my husband that we will be humble before you and submit to your ways. (Daniel 5:20–23)
Prayer 6
Father, help me to remain faithful just like Daniel remained in spite of persecution and envy. Help me not to trust in kings and queens but in you alone. When I am faced with the den of the lions and manmade persecutions and lies, help me to rely on you, just like Daniel did.
Help me, God, to remain faithful so that your name be glorified and exalted high and lifted up and above all other names. Let it be said of you what Darius said: Decree laws to honour Helena Manuela God, for all people to tremble and fear you, because you are the living God and live forevermore; your kingdom is eternal and cannot be destroyed. He saves and delivers and makes signs and wonders in the heavens and earth, for he has delivered his servant Helena Manuela from the lions’ den. (Daniel 6:10–26, 28)
Prayer 7
Father, give me dreams and visions and the will to write them down immediately and resume them. Father, please send angels to interpret these visions and dreams for me.
Prayer 8
Father, in Jesus’s name, I ask for visions as you gave to Daniel. Help me to seek you to understand the visions that you gave to Daniel. Give me end-times visions and help me to understand, either by reading or seeking other end-times prophets.
Help me to tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent shall trample under
