In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen 1:1

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Hebrews 11:3

Lord, thank you for the knowledge that You are the Creator and Sustainer of all life in this world. Thank you for creating us in such perfection that if one nucleotide in a replicating DNA strand malfunctions we pass on at conception 1. Thank You for the program of life we have found exists in every one of our 100 trillion cells 1. Our hearts stand amazed at the care you have for each of us as we grow from a single cell to a full-grown adult. All our effort and knowledge could never create a single cell never mind breathe it into effect. What God is it that would spend His time designing the laws of thermodynamics, gravity, and physics to protect and surround such ungrateful creatures such as us? Lord, we are a masterpiece! An infinitely complex and delicate balance of water and dust. I am humbled by Your love and design.

Where is the beginning and the ending of the universe around us? What can fill our heart and satisfy? Lord, move upon the Water of Your Word. May the words of Truth overflow each heart who reads them. May You dispel the darkness of lying, jealousy, and guilt that weasel their way into holes in our hearts. May we fill those holes, those empty desires with You. We need Your salvation more than anything else this world has to offer. Please save us from the physical
