On April 9, 2005, two young people disappeared inside a house in the city of Lewistown, Illinois, while they were carrying out a paranormal investigation.

To this day, the disappearance of Jackson Huddleston and Anne-Marie Maynard remains a mystery.

The only clue left was a mini digital recorder containing the last dialogues of the couple.

ANNE: Leave the recorder in your shirt pocket. It’s more practical.

JACK: You’re right.

JACK: Yep.

JACK: Say something.

ANNE: Why?

JACK: Your voice is sweet. And I bet it will be sweeter on the recorder.

ANNE: Who will listen?

JACK: This recording is for my personal archive.

ANNE: Personal archive?

JACK: I’m starting an archive to gather everything related to the supernatural.

ANNE: That’s amazing.

JACK: Also, of course, when I write the chronicle, I will access my notes on this tape recorder.

ANNE: I see.

ANNE: Here we go again for another night in a haunted house.

JACK: I hope this time it’s worth it.

ANNE: If what they said is true, it will.

JACK: Saturday, April 9, 2003. It is now 9:15 pm. This is Jack speaking.

ANNE: What are you doing?

JACK: I’m recording our investigation.

ANNE: But do you have to say it like that?

JACK: How?

ANNE: Like a TV reporter.

JACK: It’s more professional.

ANNE: Okay.

JACK: Well... Right now, I’m in the city of Lewistown, Illinois. I and my beloved girlfriend, Anne, are in a house known to be haunted. Lewistown is a small and peaceful town... I even think that a large part of the population is already sleeping. Not much to do around here, right?

ANNE: I doubt we’re the only people awake in this town.

JACK: That could be our motto.

ANNE: Which one?

JACK: While everyone sleeps, we hunt ghosts.
