Scrolling on Facebook, I caught up on anything I had missed throughout the day.
There was nothing particularly interesting, but a few posts were the same.
A yellow weather warning has been put in place due to Storm Arwen.
Not really thinking much of it, I put my phone down and turned on the TV.
And with that my son Adam, eight, had turned the channel over to watch his normal after-school cartoons – music blasting from the speakers.
It was 27 November 2021 and I had done the housework throughout the day as I normally would, before picking Adam up from school around 3pm.
