TIMBER!

Reaching for another tissue, I tried my best to catch my sneeze.

After coming down with what seemed like a three-week long winter bug, just after Christmas last year, the festive period wasn’t as cheery as it would have been due to me feeling so poorly.

Normally, I would have spent time with my daughter Gemma, 41, during that time of year as she lives in the same area as me – I had to stay at home instead.

Only, with my son James, 43, visiting from Qatar, we were in it together – and with us both catching the same bug, it meant that he could stay with me a little longer, too.
