Experiencing the Soul - Keith Foley
A SHIFT IN THOUGHT
A shift in thought is what we’re needing, going beyond what we’re reading.
Reading is fine and reading a must, breaking through the veil reveals His trust.
The veil is believing God’s somewhere in space, separated from us—the us-the human race.
It’s the human race keeping Him at bay, rejecting the words of Jesus on how to pray.
Pray for the Spirit, open our hearts,
peek through the veil, receive your fresh start.
And see our fellow man as the branch of God’s tree, all being one... Him, you, and me!
ACKNOWLEDGE ME
What secrets does the Bible hold... seeing them is so plain—the Kingdom of God’s within us,
but why is man so vain?
Vanity separates us from His love waiting deep inside,
This is where we must turn to look because this is where I hide.
God’s Love and mercy are plainly within our sight, acknowledge His presence daily and
give up this earthly fight.
The battle is not yours but Mine, says our sacred Lord,
abide within My Kingdom and put down your faulty sword. Your sword is dull and cannot penetrate My Spiritual realm, we must let go and know...
God is at the helm!
Acknowledge Me in all My blessed ways,
and you will walk with inner joy all your earthly days!"
Have no fear... hope is not lost, desire to understand God at any cost. The cost is cheap but the price is high;
we must put off the old man
with his lies.
Lies about man told for thousands of years
are not easily put off without humbleness and tears. We cannot put new wine into old bottles, we are told; side with God, and come into His fold.
The road is narrow and the way is steep, let’s love God supremely and become His sheep.
Sheep know their Master’s voice follow me... It’s God’s choice.
Standing for God where all hope is found,
He removes our fear ‘cause we’re on hallowed ground.
God lifts the weight carried upon my shoulders, heavier than the heaviest of boulders.
If I should try to carry this weight, six feet under would be my fate.
As I pass my burdens to our God that be, I’m living in the grace of His eternity. And eternity is where we’re found,
as we see God…is all around. God is the substance of all form,
sending sunbeams to keep us warm. As we live with fashioned things, each idea is love foreseen.
Seen in that space of sacred Spirit, each loving thought brings us near it.
Awaken ... to this day... which we abide in His Kingdom... found inside!
BE ONENESS
Let Oneness be our celebrated gift,
consciousness does it lift.
Lifting us into the realm of the real, into the presence of Christ we feel. Feeling the depth of His inner peace, outer troubles they do cease.
Abiding in this atmosphere of Spirit,
God’s presence is felt as we hear it.
Speaking in a whisper to our inner ear,
love is felt as we drop our
