    1.  Introduction

    Everybody knows at least somebody who has a name that doesn’t suit them.  It might be the case that a very attractive, outgoing and bright friend has the name Emma Jones when you know in your heart, there’s a better name to match her personality.  Alternatively, it could just as easily be the shy, reserved Justin Beaver whose name would definitely raise a smile due to its similarity to the rock star Justin Beiber. Perhaps even worse though would be if you were a model, upstanding citizen – perhaps a Priest - sharing the same name as a notorious serial killer.

    Many people could argue that it is not what something is called, but what it really is that is most important.  However, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet begged to differ when drawing an analogy with a flower.
