Raising A Mogul - The Manual Vol.II - Tamara Zantell
Introduction
Raising A Mogul
Who Inspires
Tamara Zantell
Raising a mogul who inspires is an exciting feat that should not be taken lightly. Rather it is an exciting feat that should cause you to move boldly and wisely in the direction of assisting them in reaching their fullest potential. Lucky for you, this manual will give you the tools to do just that!
Where did the word mogul come from?
The word mogul originated in India, which was long ruled by Islamic emperors from the north, whom Europeans called Mughals. The first Great Mogul Babur (r. 1526-1530), a prince of the Timurid dynasty from Central Asia, conquered the Delhi Sultanate, starting from the territory of the present-day states of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. The rulers of the Mughal Empire of Turko-Mongol descent are called Mughal (meaning Mongol
), Grand Mughal, or Mughal Emperor. The most famous Great Mughal was Akbar, who ruled from 1556 to 1605.
This creative title that shares Scandinavian and German roots simply put has been used to describe powerful people for hundreds of years. Taking it a bit further, these people regardless of the region were considered to be the richest and most business-oriented of their communities. These communities have written about them for centuries and their legacy remains to this day.
I choose to use the word Mogul when referring to your children and mine because regardless of their upbringing or the region they come from, they have the capacity to change the world. Together, we as parent managers are preparing them for their riches, training them to become powerful business people, thought leaders, and influencers. We are raising young people who will leave legacies that will be written about for centuries to come.
And here we are now!
Suppose you are raising a mogul, a young entrepreneur, influencer, or change maker. In that case, you already realize your child is different from other kids of the same age. In the media, we have seen many times what children are capable of if they put their hearts and minds into a cause that truly matters to them.
Children have dreams and aspirations. I believe that every child has the right to pursue their dream and become the best they can be. In this book, we will give you tips on how to raise your mogul in a way that will allow them to unfold their potential while keeping their head in the clouds and their feet on the ground.
The title Raising A Mogul Who Inspires
indicates already, that kidpreneurs are not just busy kids, they are kids who step out into the limelight and inspire other kids. That step out into the limelight can be a little tricky. — Think of Justin Bieber, for example. This Canadian singer went from a cute little kid to an out-of-control young adult. — Many of us who have followed him over the years, observed a decline in his behavior which made every mother's hair stand up. While you want the success of Bieber for your child, you do not wish for his excessive behavior. That is what this book is all about. I want to share with you how you can raise well-rounded, successful moguls that inspire the world.
So, where to begin?
If you want a flower garden, you do not start with the petals. Instead, you first prepare the soil, then you nurture or tend to the seed, next, you wait while the seed grows roots, and if all of that is done correctly, you step back and watch the flowers bloom. The flower knows how to grow all by itself; it simply needs the optimal environment.
Bringing up a mogul is remarkably similar. You want to give your young entrepreneur the best possible foundation so that they not only become rich or famous one day, but they also become a beautiful being that inspires others to follow in their footsteps. — Following my earlier analogy with the flower garden, you also want people to stop and notice your flowers. Notice their fragrance, their colors, their beauty. — keep in mind, overwatering will not help the flower become more than it can be! So if you are to grow and maintain truly beautiful change-makers who impact the world, there are a few simple things you can do.
Here are the 5 key ingredients to help you prepare your young mogul’s soil for optimal growth, success, and inspiration.
Discovery & passion.
Most children develop an early interest in a particular area. — Yes, it is true; one day they want to be a firefighter and another day, a marine biologist. However, if you look closely, you will discover a common thread going through your child's play. Themes that come up repeatedly, often from different perspectives. Be a spy and discover what your child is saying without words. Discover where your child's interest is naturally drawn.
Children need to have the freedom to pursue their passions. The younger the child, the more they will express their passion through play. While it is essential to provide your child with all the necessary resources for success, it is equally important that you give your child time to explore—time without interruptions or directed play. Instead, wait until they ask for your help or input.
Simplicity.
While it is enjoyable to not only have enough money but to be rich, money alone is not the only thing that counts. There are things in life, all the money in the world cannot buy. Teach your child early that happiness is the foundation of a great life. — and model that yourself. If your child sees you chasing every dollar, he/she will imitate your behavior. If your child cannot be happy from within, every other happiness
will only be fleeting. He or she will fill life chasing the next best thing without ever filling the void within. Encourage your child to find happiness in simplicity.
Partnership.
Honesty and trustworthiness are the foundation of every relationship, this includes all business relationships. It might be tempting to cut corners or overstep
