About this ebook

Fresh off his first year at college—and grueling exams—Cole is staying with his best friend, Shane, for the summer. For the next three months, they'll have no morning alarms, no homework, and all the free time to goof around.

Until FAP-19 gets involved.

Cole discovers that he was exposed to the sex-changing virus during finals week; his body is already undergoing female puberty. Even worse, it's the H.1.29 variant, known for making its hosts boy-crazy! His swelling changes draw the attention of Shane's mother, Ms. Doyle, who's a retired army sergeant that spends her days obsessively exercising. Due to the H.1.29 variant's influence, Cole can't stop idolizing Ms. Doyle: her beauty, her confidence, her fitness.

He wants nothing more than to be a strong, attractive woman.

But to become more like his friend's badass mom, he'll first have to go through some training...

This story takes place in the FAP-19 universe.

    A Primer for FAP-19

FAP-19 (feminizing age progression) is a virus that affects males between the ages of eighteen and thirty, with contraction likelihood inversely proportional to age. The primary symptom is a metamorphosis into an older woman. This process is broken up into two stages.

Stage 1 is a sex change, typically completed between six to ten days after infection. During this week-long period, the virus activates female puberty in the host male, triggering the secondary sex characteristics inherent to a genetic female: breast development, hip enlargement, buttocks expansion, voice change, as well as complete sexual reassignment. The skeleton remains unaltered. Scalp hair growth may also accelerate during this time-frame. Although anatomically female, men infected with FAP-19 are not fertile and lack a uterus.

Stage 2 is maturation, occurring in the month or two following the sex change. There is no predictive method to determine a victim’s peak age. However, no victim of FAP-19 has been documented to reach an age older than fifty-eight years old. During this prolonged period, a male’s hormonal level is constantly in flux, disrupting metabolism and energy levels. It is not uncommon for hosts to gain weight during their maturation, which is primarily distributed to their hips, buttocks, and breasts. Additional breast growth, regardless of weight fluctuation, may also persist.

Between ninety to a hundred days after infection, a victim sees their appearance return to normal. This event is stressful on the body. Additional rest is recommended. Rarely, some victims may not undergo a full reversal. Surgery is commonly sought to remedy this.

H.1.29 is an emerging variant of the FAP-19 virus in North America with psychological side effects. In addition to the aforementioned physical transformation, commonly reported behavioral changes in men have included: an influx of maternal desires, an irresistible appeal toward femininity, and an altered sexual orientation. A majority of hosts to H.1.29 acknowledge feeling attracted to men while the symptoms persist, and will readily seek out intimate satisfaction with men regardless of their original orientation.

Furthermore, men under the influence of H.1.29 may empathize with, befriend, and even emulate the women in their familial, social, and professional circles. During a particularly impressionable stage of viral influence—typically in the second week of infection—they may also mimic the fashion and demeanor of other women. It is hypothesized that this practice of copycatting may be connected to their adjusted sexual orientation, and that feminine behavior will increase the likelihood for achieving intimacy. Even the most aggressive and masculine men have been shown to become gentle, caring, and affectionate for this reason.

Mental side effects—including the modified sexual preferences—disappear with all other symptoms. Though it is not uncommon for men to feel emotional distress when returning to normal in body and mind. Recuperation and even counseling may be recommended.

After a six-hour drive, the Doyle residence was a beautiful sight. Cole had always been jealous. His best friend Shane lived in a nicer neighborhood with a bigger house and a backyard swimming pool. It had a big, sprawling attic where they used to spend the winter weekends pretending it was a private fort, exclusive to ten-year-olds. Shane’s dad had gotten pissed when Shane tried to have his birthday party up there.
