PREFACE

I have been in the ministry of Lord Jesus Christ for the past twenty-three years and I have been a privileged pioneer pastor of Christ Dominion Church of God International for almost seventeen years at the time of writing this prayer book. My life and ministry have been sustained and successful largely through the power of unfailing prayer to God and His word.

I have faced many insurmountable challenges but through the weapon of prayer and supplication offered up to God, I have been made to enjoy sudden turnaround victories and unfathomable miracles in those dire situations. It is becoming increasingly a burden in my heart to see believers treating prayer as a mere and passive thing. Many have become too lazy even to pray, even others are contracting their prayer requests to prayer contractors instead of them mastering the acts of praying themselves and most sincere Christians do not know how to pray effectively for divine solutions to their situations.

The enemy has deceived both sincere and innocent Christian into thinking that there is no need for prayers. They have been deceived into thinking that prayer is for the primitive people in so called third world countries but I beg to disagree with such notions.

Nothing delivers the children of God from the wickedness of the wicked than prayer of faith in their God who promised to answer whenever they call. Prayer is a tested battle axe in the hand of the knowledgeable Christians to break in pieces the enemy’s stronghold and obtain desired results.

I remember vividly when our second child was suddenly attacked overnight by the wicked devil trying to destroy his two kidneys within four or five hours of sleep at the age of four. It was during my fervent and unrelenting prayers that God gave divine instructions about his condition that arrested and terminated such satanic agenda. To the glory of God, that four-year-old boy has grown up to become a versatile young man.

It is during the course of my thinking on why the Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book —the dynamic power of effective prayer — that I strongly believe it will turn around the prayer lives of millions, making them become terror and spiritual bulldozers to the kingdom of the devil.

I pray for everyone that will come across this prayer book that their testimonies shall be greater than mine and their prayer lives will never be the same. The secrets of the enemy will be exposed and their keys to effective prayer will be released into their hands.

[16] Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God-it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

Jesus speaking in the book of John 14:6 KJV

[6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is saying emphatically, He is the way to receive salvation and other redemptive provisions from God.

Your gateway to three dimensional provisions described by Jesus in the above passage can be received and enjoyed through the dynamic power of your prayer.

Firstly He said,I AM the way — I am the way to your salvation and through prayer you seek the right paths for your future. Secondly, He said I AM the truth — through prayer you gain access to the revelational truths that makes you a commander on earthly matters. Jesus also said I AM the life — that is, through your effective prayer you enter into full manifestations of His kind of life that is devoid of chaos, crisis and earthly ups and downs.

There are truths you must be possessed with in order for your prayer to be effective; the truths established in the word of God that contains His promises as related to your circumstances, then, you must use the right key to gain access to the throne of God where prayer requests are converted to answer, trials turn into testimonies, mournings turn into dancing. The truth you will encounter through this book will make you a commander in the school of prayer in Jesus name.

The Lord Jesus also said in Matthew 16:19 KJV

[19] And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

The dynamic power of prayer can be unleashed if proper access is known and used. Jesus also said in

John 16:23 KJV

[23] And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.

Go ahead and unleash the power of prayer in His name to enter the realm of unlimited breakthroughs culminating into a victorious life in all your endeavors. You don’t have to beg for a door to open whenever you have the right key, use the name of Jesus Christ to gain access to possess your godly heritage of divine provisions such as victory over all obstacles and help necessary to fulfill your purpose.

The Bible says in

Jeremiah 33:2-3 KJV

[2] Thus saith the Lord the maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to establish it; the Lord is his name; [3] Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Just as breathing is a non-negotiable factor for human existence likewise prayer is a non-negotiable key for the believer to command the realization of their inheritances in God.

The Bible advised us in

Philippians 4:6 KJV

[6] Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

That is, nothing is too small or too big, in everything let your requests, your burdens and concerns be made known to God of all flesh. Nothing is too hard for Him to handle through prayer. God said of Himself in the book of

Jeremiah 32:27 KJV

[27] Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

Barriers, strongholds and difficulties of life can be tamed and turned into a breakthrough through potency of prayer, God of all flesh is ready to provide for all needs if can call upon Him through prayer.

The Psalmist says in

Psalm 34:17 KJV

[17] The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Through the power of prayer, you can put everything(troubles) under your control instead of the troubles controlling you. Any troubles can be controlled by the saints of God through the potency of prayer and supplications that propels divine intervention for their deliverances.

Psalm 50:15 KJV

[15] And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Since no challenge is above the Almighty God, the dynamic power of believer via fervent prayer connects him to the same frequency of God’s omnipotent ability to put armies of the enemies into flight.

I personally describe prayer as a believer’s heartbeat that holds his life together which enables him to display power needed to dominate over all power of darkness and obtain desired results. As the heart in human beings keeps the blood system in circulation and if the heart ceases to perform its biological functions, the person is declared dead; so is a prayerless Christian in the affair of life and waging war against the unseen forces of evil that hinders progress.

Jesus said in

Luke 18:1 KJV

[1] And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

This connotes, prayer is not what you do once a while but a lifestyle endeavor as you walk throughout your journey on the earth.

PRAYER MUST BE A LIFESTYLE, NOT A THING YOU DO DURING EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ONLY

Tremendous power is released through effective prayer life that makes the Christian journey enticing and rewarding. I pray that through the simple and easy to read book,your desire to pray effectively and earnestly will be rekindled and your formally closed good opportunities shall be opened in greater proportions forever in Jesus mighty name.

Lastly, this book is purposely written to raise prayer warriors that God will use in the end times to judge the wickedness of the wicked throughout the earth and place His children on a path of unending victorious life and dominion lifestyle. For it is written in

Joel 3:9 KJV

[9] Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

The battle axe of the Lord of Hosts will be reborn and refired through the information and revelation contained in this book. It will wake up tired and sleeping prayer warriors to stand in gap for their families, ministries, nations, businesses thereby fulfilling their divine assignments as the watchmen. It is not about your eloquent speeches but your heart for suffering humanity that is needed to join this army of intercessors and open the gateway for the captives to be set free, the blind to see, once frustrated and defeated to become more than conquerors over all issues of life.

The Bible tells us in

Isaiah 52:8 KJV

[8] Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.
