God is always ready to solve our problems and to give answers to our doubts. The Bible explains why many do not receive answers to prayer: “Ye ask, and received not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts” (James 4:3) From the above scripture, it is possible to ask amiss, that is wrongly. How then can we ask correctly? Well, God has a way and His way if followed will guarantee outstanding results. I have gathered in this book dynamic and biblical principles that will make your prayer effective and open doors of blessings for you.

INTRODUCTION

"Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands.

Sing forth the honour of his name; make his praise glorious.

Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name.

Come and see the work of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

He turned the sea into a dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him" (Ps. 66: 1-6)

The only thing that delights the heart of God is when He sees his creatures full of praise to Him, because he who praises God shows forth the glory of God. It is also important to know that praise is a product of a joyful heart, which therefore implies that, a heart that is not full of joy may not give quality praise to God.

If in the eyes of God our happiness and joy is of great importance, why then are praises not often coming forth from our lips? Why are we often captured by problems rather than blessings from God? I believe the answer to this question is simply the absence of effective prayer. You may ask, why prayer? Well, since the above stated scriptures stated that only the great power of God can open our praiseful heart. However, the great power of God can only be demonstrated through prayers, because when we pray, our problem gives way to testimony which will eventually guarantee a joyful praise to God Almighty.

The state of the present world is pathetic. Satan is throwing his weapons of oppression on humanity; Poverty, Sickness, Famine, late marriage, bad habit and so on, will not allow man to appreciate the greatness of his Creator. Even in the body of Christ today, many have a different picture of our God. Some still sees Him as a God who gives poverty and sickness as a means of human chastisement. This is never true of the God we serve. Only the ignorant mind will say that,

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4: 6).

The prophet Hosea implies that God people experiences destruction because they lack knowledge and because they do not follow God’s ways". Beloved, one of the inevitable ways of God to a victorious Christian life is the way of effective Prayer.

Prayer is every believer’s weapon of warfare and if effectively utilize will demolish the kingdom of darkness and open great doors to new destinies in God. Our Lord Jesus Christ himself overcame with this same weapon of prayer during his earthly ministry. The bible recorded that; He prayed until His sweat was as if it were a great drop of blood falling down to the ground (Luke 22: 44), I call that prevailing prayer.

Through prayer the barren became mothers of children and they were able to give praises to God. Of Hannah the bible gave this testimony concerning her.

And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bared three sons and two daughters and the child Samuel grew before the LORD (I Sam. 2:21)

As Hannah’s prayer opens the door to her fruitfulness in life, no matter what type of barrenness you are facing today, is it financial barrenness (lack of money) Spiritual barrenness and so on, If you will obey whatsoever God will say to your heart as you read this book, your own barrenness will also give way to fruitfulness in Jesus Christ name.

We also learn of Elijah’s prayer;

And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word…Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench(I Kings. 18: 36; 39).

Just like Elijah did, as you pray from every inspire word in this book, fire will consume anything that stand as stone, wood and dust against your business, ministry,  job and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Paul and Silas also prayed and sang praises to God. The prison chains could not stand the effect of their prayer.

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God; and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.(Acts. 16:25-26)

Satan does not respect the cries of men, their money or their personality. Just as darkness will not give way to anything except the true
