Adventure Day

Just as he passed the old oak, he began to feel drowsy, fell down into a big lump of grass, and went to sleep.

Oliver sat on the edge of his bed and turned on his lamp. It was his habit to wake up early. To him, it wasn’t right to waste a minute of daylight. Every day was an adventure. Today, however, he had gotten up before the sun rose. This was a special day. It was the last day of school and the beginning of summer vacation.

He walked over to his desk. On it was a collection of books on subjects he was interested in. On a shelf above was his collection of toy dinosaurs. He picked up a velociraptor, a stegosaurus, a brontosaurus, and a triceratops, walked back over to his bed, and put them down. He would play with them tonight.
