My testimony about a man, (me) praying for a wife for years and a beautiful woman who still is a singer today but I never knew about her back then until God did 20 plus miracles in 2007 to prepare and send me to Fort Lauderdale to enter a cruise liner on February 25th to March 2nd 2008. The first day on that ship in the auditorium God arranged this beautiful brunette singer to meet me face to face on a cruise in the Bahamas. But the enemy foiled that meeting and the two never did marry as God had designed. Then 15 years later on 11-11-22 God stirred me up again to write this book to reenergize that missed romantic moment back then. This book is a testimony about the 20 miracles my Lord did back in 2007 to connect me to my future wife who was also praying for a soulmate for years. In this short book you will see God’s inner workings of how He plans His will and how He works His multiple miracles behind the scenes we rarely ever get the chance to see; as God does truly work in mysterious ways. Those spiritual details we seldom see to their conclusion until He reaches the end of His multi-year plan; which might be this year; 2023. But remember, God sees the end of His plans before He starts the beginning using His weak and humble servants. ¹⁰ "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" Isaiah 46:10. My 20 Miracle Prayers For a Wife

Today is November 11th 2022 and I was watching a romantic movie in my living room by myself when I started thinking back 15 years ago to 2007 before my first trip to the Bahama’s when my once in a life time 20 miracles occurred. Back then I had been praying for a godly wife for many years when all these miracles actually started rapaciously right after the other all directing me to a specific single goal as God was in the process of answering my prayers about finding me a godly wife. So while watching this romantic movie a thought entered my romantic but lonely mind as I heard the Lord say, "My heart is saying that it’s time again". I went to You Tube and that nostalgia love-longing line that God placed in my mind came from an old song 36 years ago released on March 22nd 1986 that was sung by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald, On My Own as God was on a mission of love as "… He will joy over thee with singing.. Zephaniah 3:17. NKJV. Those lyrics in that song God spoke to my romantic heart were stirring up my love hungry heart about what had happened 15 years ago. Why did it end this way? This wasn’t how it was supposed to end. I’ve got to find where I belong again. And then the line God spoke to spark my interest to write this book. My heart is saying that it’s time again. And lastly, And I, have faith that I will shine again".

For those of us who have romantic hearts and you wonder where you got them? Just remember, God is Love and He created us to love like He does; so why shouldn’t He speak to us through love songs we know. "… He will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17. NKJV. So I wondered, Does God, knowing our romantic hearts, answer prayers we Christians have given up on years ago? Hmmm. Is God trying to complete what He started 15 years ago? ? ? Philippians 1:6.

God Speaks the Completion of His Original Plan

After that song, On My Own by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald another thought came into my mind. Why don’t you write about your 20 miracles you had; I’m sure lots of people would like to hear about that. So I thought about that idea and with the romantic movie on TV still on pause, I went to the computer and with God inspiring me typed out the title of this new book and my very last thoughts in a question form because my stubborn broken romantic heart still just wouldn’t die. But it was late that night, so I said to myself, Yeah, that’s a good idea Lord, I’ll start writing those thoughts out tomorrow when I’m fresh. However, the next morning came at 62 degrees and I found myself shivering under my covers as I discovered the hard way the furnace just quit working in the middle of the night. That delay cost me four days but in the process I had forgotten all about writing this book the Lord prompted me to write just days ago. So again the Lord reminded me right before bed time but again it was late at night and so I said, Oh that’s right I forgot, I’ll start that good idea in the morning Lord. But again a second time the furnace stopped working in the middle of the night. So after the enemy’s eight day delay was finally over and the furnace was completely fixed, I got two songs urging me to start writing out my many miracles I had 15 years ago as best as I could remember them. So today is November 19 2022 just after the midterm election, and we’re going to journey back now to the start of these many miracles God did in my life to begin the long process to finally introduce me to my future wife face to face for the very first time that I was praying to God for years.

My Original Plan for Sweet Love

I had been praying for a godly wife so I could lavish all my love on her and maybe she might even reflect all that lavished love back on me. As you may know, men are like flash lights shining their love on their wives and wives are like mirrors reflecting back to her husband what he gives her daily. So back in 2005 I bought my first computer because I wanted to write out my romantic thoughts in a book of romance I hoped my future wife would read thinking maybe she might want the romance I wrote about and then seek out the author so we might finally meet and then possibly live happily ever after. But little did I know there was a godly woman somewhere else in this love-starved world who was also praying for a godly man so she could lavish all her sweet love on him and be loved back deeply by that same righteous husband he had been praying for. The only thing wrong with my plan for love is that it wasn’t God’s plan; and when you pray to God, He always has a much better plan than you. However, getting God’s plan across to me was not going to be easy for Him, but after all, that’s why He’s God Almighty, because He can get through to anyone, even me with my own plan. I’m not sure who had the harder job; me trying to make my own romantic plan work to get some sweet lady, or God trying to get His thoughts a crossed to me with my blind Stubborn Love thinking as I thought I had this soulmate thing all figured out. But the battle plans for finding love were on and may the best planner win.

God Starts His Incredible Plan to Show me my Wife

So on a sunny Sunday morning I believe it was about July or August 2007 back then after the church service was over and I was still in the Church building walking through the corridor on my way to the exit door to go home and eat lunch, the Lord spoke a thought to my mind. Check out the library and see if there is anything you might find interesting. But I answered the Lord within my mind quickly, I never go in the library, I’m happy just reading my Bible. And with that quick answer I kept right on walking toward the door. But the Lord was persistent (Romans 12:12) and repeated, There might be something in there you find interesting; you should look. I stopped walking to consider the thought a second time and then quickly replied, No, I’m not interested in reading someone else’s book when I have the Bible I could be reading. And with everything considered I proceeded toward the exit door again. But the Lord was not going to give up on answering those prayers we both had prayed many times with a fervent heart and so He reiterated a third time, Check out the library and see if there is anything you might find interesting. Now I’m thinking, There must be something He wants me to check out in this library or He wouldn’t have prompted me three times. So now after being at this church for five years and not once did I ever go into the library for any reason, I am now going into the church library for the very first time out of curiosity to see what the Lord wanted me to check out. Now being a left-brained typical male of logical thinking I started this endeavor I didn’t even want to do at the top of the first roe looking at books, tape series, study guides, and teaching CD booklets. Scanning from top to bottom I went along down each roe very systematically considering everything I saw and weather this godly material would interest me more than the Bible I was already reading. Do I really want to commit my time and energy to this teaching series instead of reading my own Bible that I enjoy? Hmmm. Nothing really jumped out at me and so I just kept scanning quickly to finish this thought the Lord had of, Checking out the library to see if there was anything I might find interesting. When I finished looking through all the roes and still found nothing, the librarian noticed I didn’t find anything yet so she asked, Did you find what you were looking for? I answered, I’m really not sure what I’m looking for. As she points to a hallway with shelves on either side and boxes of old materials on those shelves from top to bottom down this dark hallway she says, We have a back hallway here with shelves of old technology we’re eventually going to get rid of; you might try looking there. So, not having any real thing in mind I entered this unlit back hallway with older teaching paraphernalia just thrown in a box and not displayed neatly like the new technology stuff was in the well-lit library. The lower shelves were easier to look down into the dark boxes in this lower lit hallway and so I considered them first. Then looking up I saw only the bottom of brown cardboard boxes which told me absolutely nothing. Now not wanting to turn this whole frustrating hunt into a dark attic box shuffling sweaty day I finally said, Lord, there’s nothing here, I’m going home; and that’s when I gave up. Have any of you ever given up on anything? How many know when we Christians give up, that’s when God begins His behind the scene planning. But the Lord was waiting for me to be right under a certain big cardboard box above me and as I was looking up at the bottom of that brown box He said, What’s in that box? Feeling like I was intruding on somebody’s privet stuff I said in my mind, I don’t know. The Lord encouraged me, Well, pull the box down and take a look. So now I’m thinking to myself, Okay, the attic reshuffling sweaty box day has now started. But when I looked into the big box I saw Dr. Gary Smalley’s VHS tapes (old technology) on the DNA of Relationships and how to have a great marriage which I actually saw before and enjoyed. Since my first marriage to an unsaved woman ended in 2001, this time I wanted to be the best husband I could possibly be. Suddenly my eyes lit up with joy and excitement and I now saw the reason the Lord wanted me to enter the library and find something I would be interested in learning about. The librarian said I could only take out one VHS tape at a time. But I wanted them all and she could see the excitement on my face and so she allowed me to check out all of them at once. Now with this entire big box in my hands, and a happy smile on my face, I went home with my treasure to start watching and learning how to be the best possible husband for my new sweet wife Lord Jesus would hand pick out for me.
