Beverly L. Anderson started writing at the age of eleven, and when she did it was obvious she wasn’t going to stick to the every day. Her first story, written in a series of spiral notebooks, was about a kidnapping. There’s no surprise that these days, she favors the dark corners of the psyche over the happy and fluffy parts. To better understand the mind of her characters, Beverly specialized in psychology and counseling in school, and holds a master’s degree in the latter. Beverly’s other hobbies include gaming of all types, transgender and autism advocacy, and writing fanfiction. She herself has gone on the journey of self-discovery in the last few years, finally pinning down her identity after nearly thirty years of searching. Coming out as bigender and pansexual was one of the hardest things she’s ever done, but it gave her the confidence to become herself even more. An autistic parent of two autistic kids, and an eclectic pagan, Beverly finds herself at odds with a lot of what society calls “normal”. Her interest in the BDSM community began as simple curiosity, but has led her to the road to finding a place for herself there as a switch.

Jude Hunter looked in the mirror at himself and nodded. He looked good, and he needed to look good today. He was planning on asking the cute barista out. Well, he and his roommate Logan Stone were, anyway. They were looking for a third in their triad. He ran a hand through his chin length blond hair and straightened the rock band t-shirt he was wearing. He’d paired it with a pair of dark jeans and a set of boots he thought looked good. Granted, she’d seen him every day for practically the last month. Today would be the first time he took Logan to the place to see if she was interested in a three-person relationship.

Logan appeared in the doorway. You’re such a princess about what you wear, he groused, arching a black brow at him, brown eyes twinkling.

I am not! Jude sighed. I’m just nervous, is all. You know how this usually goes, and she’s probably going to be like all the rest. One guy is fine, but when you mention two, they get skittish.

Well, it is intimidating. I’m telling you, the guy at the dojang is the one we should ask. He gives us both a look now and then, so I bet he’s either gay or bi. Logan sighed and motioned for Jude to hurry up.

Jude frowned. I mean, yeah, but that girl comes to see him all the time. We’ve got a better shot with this girl. At least, I think so.
