My middle school English teacher, Mr. Meyers, was very inspirational with getting his students to step out of the box when it came to writing stories.
I grew up in Mt. Vernon, Iowa and now live in Cedar Rapids, Ia.
I have been married 25 years to Kirk and we have two sons, Andrew 22 and Bryce 18. Kirk and I are now empty nesters, but have our two cats Kato and Jag to keep us company.
Andrew and his wife Brandy also live in Cedar Rapids and blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter in May 2012, Aubrey Jean.
Our son Bryce lives in Iowa City and attends the University of Iowa where he studying Liberal Arts.view less
