Better Now Than Never - Jarvis Frederick

    Can I say Goodbye

Can I say goodbye to a very special friend?

It really hurt me because I never got the chance.

People always ask me why I still lay and cry.

I try to control it, but that’s exactly why.

Because I didn’t expect this to happen. It caught me by surprise.

I just couldn’t accept that my good friend had died.

So send her a message from the bottom of my heart. Tell her I still love her even after her departure.

Tell her that her memory will live on forever.

Tell her one day, we will all be together.

And it may take a while before the day I see her face.

But to see my mother again is well worth the wait.

    A Candle For Me

Light a candle for me on Christmas. Make sure it's bright.

I might not get everything I want, but I must share my light.

Light a candle for me on Christmas, as we celebrate again.

It represents the light God placed deep within.

Light a candle for me on Christmas, Place it high for the world to see.

Let everyone know that I’m grateful. Keep it burning just for me.

    A Great Celebration

    Me and you together.

    Me and you forever.

    One lung breathing.

    One heart beating.

    One fine day, we will both say;

    Baby let's go away.

From all the hating, chastising and damnation.

Me and you can have our own celebration.

A celebration of the love that we both share.

Let’s dance the night away, and not have a care.

    A Single Rose

Every Valentine's day, I was so alone.

No one to ever talk to. Everyone was always gone.

I was at home, wiping lonesome tears.

But this time it's different. Finally, after all
