About this ebook
Viola Kathleen Bates
Hello to everyone, my name is Viola, I was born in Athens, Tennessee. When I was a child, we were poor. My Dad was never around, so it was left up to my mom to raise my three sisters and brother by herself. She showed us how to make due with less and appreciate, everything and give thanks for what we received. We had no complaints, and as we grew up and married and moved away. One by one we stay in touch and were always there for each other through good and bad, and in my case my marriage was bad I was Christian when I went into this family. I could nt believe my eyes at the abuse not just physical but mental as well. I didn’t love him when I married but I did fall in love after words before the abuse started. I had two wonderful boys who almost died several times but by the grace of God they survived. I always said when I quit school and married at 14 years old, I lied for my age and said I was 15 I always said that when I got my boys raised it would be my time., and know it is. I said I would get my high School Diploma and at 44 years I did. I said I would have me a home of my own, and I do and I said I would start my own business one day and now I’m starting college.

True Love Without A Kiss
A dream of sitting, under a rainbow.
With the one I hold so dear. When I look
into his eyes, I feel so safe and secure.
From the gaze heís giving me, I can
feel his love staring back. To be in
love with someone, whom youíve never
kissed, is simply something else Best
friends, someone to talk to, and oh
he looks so good. His body is muscular,
arms and legs. Itís as if God made him
especially for me. Even though I never
thought it would be. True, until I
had a dream and there he was standing
at my door right before my eyes.
Speechless, astonished and amazed.
For then, I didnít know what to do.
For in this man, my dream was coming
true. It was like a rainbow, the colors
and goodness automatically shining
through. To show the love that glows
inside me, when he walks into a
room. Someday, somehow, someway,
we will have a kiss, that will
last, for hearts forever more. But
until then, I will be waiting as
a friend. My love for you will never
end. My future foretold, of us making
love, so mysterious, and yet so
unique. Fore we touched, you loved
it, when our hearts joined as one.
People can see the chemistry between
the two of us. Yet, we deny ourselves
and pull away. And still our friend-
ship is there to stay. I would do anything
for you, for the love inside of
me is true. I think about you all
the time. And itís a feeling, I canít
explain. How will I feel, so pure like
the blood running through my
veins. I donít know, what to do, but
take it one day at a time. and enjoy
every minute I can. Because you
or I know when these feelings
will end. To see you in my dreams
my friend. To where, I can love you
with no end.

Dreams
Walking along the shore, I dreamed
of footsteps in the sand. Wishing for
my Baby and me to be there hand in
hand. Thinking of a time our love run
so deep, like the water in the ocean and
the fish in the sea. Listening to the rhythm
of the waves on the beach, how beautiful
the sound of my Babyís voice is to me.
Our love is everlasting, and thatís the way
it should be. For God sent us together
me to you and you to me. A very
special feeling that grows down deep
inside. The love I feel for you is higher
than the skies. Woman was created by
the rib of man, to be by their side and
walk hand in hand. Love, Honor and Cherish
with love thatís so pure. A love thatís
everlasting, forever weill endure. Where
thereís Love, Peace, Happiness; thereís an
everlasting Joy! That will last through
eternity for richer or poorer. Dreams are
like wishes, they sometimes come true. And
as long as weíre together, all I need is
you!

Stand by Me
Sitting here alone writing words
to become a song. Trying to stay
positive, with my thinking. Wondering
if my dreams are coming true,
and if I can, shine like a star.
Loving someone very special even
though now I know it would be
wrong. Patiently awaiting for a kiss
that will bring life back to me.
Then Iíll know of my destiny.
Someone to stand by me, and help
me be strong, to love with no end,
