About this ebook
The red strings of fate were just a story told since ancient times. The story goes that these red strings connect soulmates, gently guiding them to one another.
If you were to ask engaged couple Stella and Flynn, they would have told you that they were meant to be together. That was until the world woke up one day and everyone could see those red strings of fate. The only problem was, Stella and Flynn's strings weren't connected.

Red Strings - Krystal Doolittle
Stella had just left her last dress fitting appointment before her wedding and couldn’t wait for the big day. Seeing herself standing in front of the mirrors in her dress and veil really brought it home for her. The dress she had picked needed some major alterations, so the other times that she’d worn it, the idea that she was getting married didn’t seem to quite click. But once she had it on today, fitted and in all its glory, it all became a reality. One that came crashing down on her in a way she hadn’t expected.
Pulling out her phone, Stella found her fiance, Flynn’s contact and pressed the call button. Holding it to her ear, she climbed into the car and shut the door.
Hey, babe,
he greeted her as he answered. How was the fitting?
Amazing,
she said as she checked her makeup in the rearview mirror. She’d shed a few tears and wanted to make sure she didn’t look like a mess. I can’t wait for you to see it.
That was all she could think about when she had it on, how he would react when he saw her in it.
I can’t wait, either,
he admitted. It’s hard to believe our wedding is only a week away.
I know,
she sighed. It felt like it was taking forever, but now that it’s here? It feels like it’s going so fast.
She didn’t think she was getting cold feet necessarily but the idea of the big day was still making her nervous.
I grabbed takeout for supper,
he said as he changed the subject. How long before you’re home?
I’ll be there in fifteen,
she estimated. As long as the traffic isn’t bad.
Sounds great. I love you.
His voice was filled with love and she felt incredibly lucky to have him. He was unlike any other guy she’d ever dated before.
Love you, too,
she said before hanging up. With a smile and a warm feeling in her heart, she was eager to get home. Starting the car, she backed out of the parking space and headed for home.
Before long, their apartment building loomed over her and she was pulling into the parking garage. She collected the few bags from
