    INTRODUCTION –

Your spiritual life no matter your religion or race is not a hobby or a job from which you can take a vacation, it’s the source of your life. Yes, there is a purpose for your life, and I hope and pray that you have or will learn that purpose so that you can go out and help others learn their purpose.

As you know there is no neutral ground, either you are moving forward or you are a moving backwards, yes, there is a temptation to coast, to rest on your spiritual tree, but if you wouldn’t choose to do that for three, six, or twelve months why would you choose to do it for a day? So don’t be a know it all even for a day because you cannot depend on yesterday’s faith to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

Physically life can be a challenge I know from experience when I lost my family and freedom due to being incarcerated and believe me that was a huge challenge and I wanted to just give up, but I’m here today to encourage you to consider wherever you are in your spiritual life bring intelligence, talent, giftedness, wisdom and how-to-experience to those you come in contact with.

No matter where you are in your life you must never give up your sense of purpose. The more you live the more you have to offer, so let me suggest four ways to offer what you know. #1) Be open to learn; #2) Be open to new experiences; #3) You also need to be open to teach and #4 (which I believe is the most important of them all) BE OPEN TO LOVE.

Life is a journey and sometimes the journey is joyful, inspiring, and fulfilling. At other times it’s a difficult struggle. We’ve all experienced winding roads and frustrating detours along the way. Everyone knows about stumbling blocks, disappointments, and losses. We all face problems and pressures, fears and frustrations, struggles and setbacks, and I believe it’s important to be aware of what’s happening in our lives and to reflect on our experiences so that we can learn and grow as a result.

At some point I think just about everybody has been tempted to give up, throw in the towel, I know I have, but I’m here to tell you DON’T DO IT treasure your dreams and work so they come true. Life can be very difficult at times, stress can mount up to where sometimes it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but the light is there.

You may be in a difficult place right now, but new doors will be opened for you to walk through and remember you’re not alone, you have family, friends and other people to walk with you through those doors, you do not have to go about it alone so don’t let your dreams die because of fear of being alone.

Whatever your belief may be, stir up your faith, fan the flame of the spirit who lives in you! Remember I said don’t depend on yesterday’s faith to meet tomorrow’s challenges, and always remember what brought you to where you are, will not take you to where you need to be. So be thankful for your memories but don’t settle down there. Be grateful for what you’ve already learned but you can’t be satisfied with it, you need to constantly learn more. You’ve already learned a lot now it’s time to put it all into action and remember you will never change your life until you change something you
