Chapter 1

I woke up sweating and panting heavily. Tears were streaming down my face. I couldn't process anything right now. My mind was as if it was frozen, and my heart was racing, and it seemed that it would pop out any moment. But suddenly I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and heard a deep and somewhat worried voice saying, Are you okay? What happened? I looked up and saw him. It was dark so I couldn't see his face, but because of his voice, I knew that it was Brian. He sat down in front of me and tried to calm me down. He wiped my tears with his thumb and hugged me while caressing my hair. It's okay! Don't cry! It was just a dream! He whispered in my ear in a comforting voice which helped me a lot to calm down. B-but what if it's true? W-what if t-they come back? I said in between sobs.

Andrew, calm down! It's just because of your past! And past is past! If you look back, you won't be able to move on. If you keep regretting what happened in the past, you won't be able to enjoy your present and future! It's gone! Forever! Past is just a memory! He exclaimed, but I couldn't stop crying. After a few minutes when I finally calmed down, I lifted my head to face him and said apologetically, I'm sorry!

Don't apologize! It was not your fault, and as I said, the past is past, so don't worry! Now back to sleep! He replied softly. I nodded and he made me lie down. He covered me with the blanket and stayed with me till I fell asleep.

Ahhhhhhhhh! I shouted because of my alarm, which rang at a freaking loud volume making me fall to the ground. Yay! Stop shouting drama queen! Brian who just came out after having a shower and was drying his hair with the help of a towel proclaimed. Shut up! I shouted in frustration. Wow! What a nice way to say good morning! he said with his eyebrows raised. Can you stop? I answered while getting up and leaving to freshen up. Seriously? What the hell is even wrong with you? he said. Just go and fight with Tylor! I'm not in a mood! I said and went inside the bathroom leaving Brian dumbfounded, but he had an idea what I was talking about. So…about last night…I had a nightmare…again. It's all because of my past. I will explain everything, but I think that you should know who I am first and about the others.

I'm a member of a group named the Warriors and our fandom is called Aztecs. Well, there is a meaning behind the names too. You see we are the Warriors because we won't trade ourselves and because we trust each other. It's because of how close we are and because of our relationship, our hard work, our self-trust, our aims, and our sincerity. Our group consists of seven members: Kyle, Alex, Cody, Nathan, Brian, Tylor, and me, Andrew.

Kyle is our group's leader. He plays the role of rapper, songwriter, and producer. He is twenty-two just like Nathan, and to be very honest I joined this company, Pd Entertainment, because of him. I was extremely impressed by his rap and wanted to be with him. Alex is the oldest member at the age of twenty-four. He is the visual and the vocalist of the group.

Now Cody. People say he is cold, but he is not. It's his nature to be cold. Does that even make sense? Yes! He was like that before, but now he has the opposite personality, and I don't complain about the fact that he was cold because…there is a reason behind it. Yeah! There is! It's also because of his past. His parents died in a plane crash when he was only two. He was raised by his uncle and aunt who never showed any affection toward him. He got bullied at school and never had real friends. But one day his bullies crossed the limits by cursing his parents who were not there for him anymore, and that was it. That was the end of his patience.

All of his bullies saw Cody's real self which he had been hiding. And his uncle? He left him after getting the property his parents had left for him. This was his biggest heartbreak. Not that he lost the property, but that his uncle whom he trusted the most left him. So now you must have an idea why he is like this. Well, he is the main rapper, songwriter, and producer. He is almost twenty-four just like Alex. They are just three months apart. Alex was born in December 1992, and Cody in March 1993. And one more thing. Do not disturb him while he is sleeping, and do not enter his studio without his permission if you value your life. All right. The sleeping one was just for fun. But it's better if you don't disturb him because he never sleeps at night and always works so…yeah!

Nathan is also the rapper but the lead rapper. He is the lead dancer and also the visual. He is called the sunshine of the group, and people are not wrong about it. You see! He is always energetic and always tries to cheer everyone up. But no matter how wide awake he is, he also gets exhausted and enervated. Once he said, I'm always tired, but today, I don't have enough energy to hide it. And that's exactly what I'm saying. He always shows his positive side and never shares his worries with any of us. This is why we never saw his negative side.

Brian and Tylor or Ty are of the same age, twenty-one. Brian is the main vocalist, main dancer, and sub-rapper. Ty is the vocalist and the lead visual. And these two guys never get along. They are always fighting for the smallest reason. But still, they are soulmates.

Well, then…lastly, me, Andrew. I'm the lead vocalist, main dancer, and sub-rapper, just like Brian.

Chapter 2

Now let's talk about my so-called horrible past. Well…it all started with the AMA (Annual Music Awards). We were supposed to perform at the award show, and we were totally into practice. Every day went on like getting up and going to the practice studio after our morning routine, practicing all day and skipping lunch, then going to bed after our night routine. That was it. We were so much into practice and the show that we almost forgot about each other. Every day was like that but a little different for me. We all were practicing continuously for almost seven to eight hours, and then Kyle advised, Let's take a break guys! We all nodded and followed him, but I and Ty stopped when we realized that Jimin wasn't following.

Mind joining us, Mr. Brian? Ty asked, getting Brian's attention. You guys go ahead. I'm gonna get this move first, Brian answered. You sure? Ty asked and Brian nodded which made Ty smirk. We walked out, and I asked him, What's going on in your evil mind again? He was smiling like an idiot and replied, What?

What what? I know you when you smirk. You are definitely up to something. You better not be doing something because last time we had to clean the whole dorm even though it wasn't my fault. Got it? I warned him and walked away. We all refreshed ourselves and went to have lunch. We all sat down and started our daily conversations. Yup daily because it is normal.

Kyle: Where is Brian?

Ty: That stubborn baby of yours is practicing some moves.

Alex: Mind your words, Tylor.

Ty: Why? He is stubborn. It's his fault that he ate my dumplings.

Cody: Here we go again. I'm gonna get some ice from the fridge.

Ty pointed at him in…disbelief.

Ty: How can he stay so calm in every situation?

Cody: Just the way you can't. (He said and left.)

We all burst out laughing as Ty glared at us.

Ty: Will you guys jus—(He burst out laughing without completing his sentence.)

We turned around to where Ty was pointing just to see…Alex holding onto Brian's ear? What? Whatever the reason was, Brian looked hilarious which didn't allow me to hold back my laughter.

Brian: Ahh, please, ah, it hurts s-sorry-sorry! I promise I won't do it again. You can't do this to me. Come on, show some mercy on your cute baby.

Ty: Correction! Cute little stubborn baby!

Brian: You knew that he's gonna scold me, didn't you?

Ty: My revenge! Who told you to eat my dumplings?

Me: Not me.

Ty: This is not a question but an argument!

Me: Oh!

Brian: So what if I ate it? I told you I'm hungry, but no, why would you listen to me?

Ty: I told you to eat after the practice with me, but you and your stubborn self weren't ready to listen to me.

Brian: One, stop calling me stubborn because I'm not. Two, it is so not my fault because I was simply hungry, so I ate it all up. And three, three, there is no three!

Ty: Blah, blah, blah, Mr. 1-7-3!

Brian: A difference of four centimeters doesn't make you taller, Coconut Head.

Ty: How dare you call me coconut head, you boiled bean!

Brian: Just the way you called me boiled bean, you—

(Alex interrupted Brian.)

Alex: Stop it now

Ty: And what if we don't?

Alex: Then you both will have to share the same room for the next two months.

Ty and Brian: No way! I am so not staying with him. Stop copying me! No, you do! Ahhhhh!

Alex: I told you two stop not start dummies!

Ty: Whatever, but I ain't staying with him.

Brian: Same here! You have no idea how annoying he is.

Ty: Says the one who is up the whole night playing Overwatch.

Brian: Excuse me? Do not drag my Overwatch in here.

Alex: I said st—(I interrupted him.)

Me: Let them! It's fun watching them.

Jin: And how is it fun?

Me, Nathan, and Cody: Netflix comedy!

Ty: (scoffed and said) Seriously? Comedy? And Cody? Is my life a joke to you?

Cody: Say that once more, and I'll make your life a joke!

Ty gulped and awkwardly smiled.

Nathan: Can y'all eat wasabi?

Me: I can't eat spicy
