About this ebook
Bryce
I didn't need no rich alpha to take care of me. I was a street cat, after all. But I did need money. If I could just get a bit more, I could afford some heat blockers, then I wouldn't have to worry about alphas at all. Problem solved.
I wanted babies, but until I got on my feet, I couldn’t have them. I could barely afford to feed myself as it was.
However, when I met my new boss - the billionaire’s son - I tried to hide my heat from him, but he was just too damn nosy!
He caught me off guard - and in full heat - and before I knew it, I was carrying his babies.
When his alpha father found out, all hell broke loose. Threatened with the loss of his inheritance, I knew he would choose me over riches. But I couldn’t allow that. I didn’t deserve him. So, I did the only thing I could think of:
I ran away.
Alone and destitute, I struggled to find a job. I needed to care for the babies in my belly. But with no experience, no family and no alpha, I didn’t stand a chance.
Travis
Bryce came to my door looking like a helpless, lost cat. He was disheveled, hungry and looking for a leg up in the world. The first thing I noticed about him was that he was in heat. With no money, he couldn’t even afford heat blockers.
I thought I could help him. Even though he was a bit clumsy, he made a good servant. But there was something more to him. Something I couldn’t quite place my paw on. It was like we were fated to be together.
He helped me realize that I had been living my entire life separated from the rest of the world. Through our love, he showed me what it was like to be a real man who wasn’t judged by wealth. I found that I liked helping the omega care for my house.
But when my father found out about our union, he couldn’t accept the fact that I loved someone beneath my station. Not only was I kicked out of the only home I had ever known, but that night I also lost the love of my life, Bryce.
I could replace my home, but I could never replace my omega.
This story contains an HEA, Mpreg, and babies at the end. Cute babies. Insufferable little tykes that get into all sorts of trouble.

Travis
I paced back and forth, waiting. I don't know why I was so nervous. I'd seen my father interview hundreds of servants. Now that it was my turn, why should I be so worried? But I was.
Back and forth. Back and forth. I paced like a caged cat. I even shifted into my lion form and paced.
I checked my watch. I checked my watch again two minutes later. This was insane. I had never been so nervous in all my life.
I nearly jumped out of my fur when the doorbell rang. It was him! It had to be. I bolted for the door, then remembered that I was the alpha and he was the omega. It was my job to put on an air of superiority. I was supposed to be calm and he was supposed to be nervous.
With sweaty palms, I opened the door and was greeted by our new applicant for my personal assistant. The first thing that stood out at me when I saw him was that he was dressed inappropriately for the interview.
But that didn't matter, I wanted to know if he could do the job.
Hello Mr.…
I looked down at my notes. Bryce.
I thrust out my hand. The omega reciprocated rather weakly. He gave me an awkward smile and just stood there balancing back and forth between his feet.
My heart went out to him. It was painfully obvious that he was not prepared for this interview. He was a smallish man, average size for an omega and I invited him in.
Please, come this way. My name is Travis. It's a pleasure to meet you.
I don't know who was more nervous, me or him. My heart thundered in my chest as I sat the omega down in the living room.
Sitting across from him, I asked him about his credentials. Had he ever done this type of work before? He explained that he had not and shyly admitted that he had never worked a day in his life.
The entire time I was interviewing him, he kept fidgeting around. At first I thought it was just nerves, but then I began smelling a familiar, tantalizing scent.
Halfway through the interview, I stopped, put the pen down and looked the omega straight in his big brown eyes.
Bryce, may I ask why you are fidgeting?
The omega paled and looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here. He gave a soft mewl of an answer and I asked him to speak up.
I'm sorry…
He said as he hung his head down low. You see, my family and I have been poor my entire life and now that I'm old enough, I'm supposed to get a job to help out with the bills.
I nodded. I may have been the son of a rich billionaire, but I could understand his plight. However, that didn't explain the fidgeting. Go on…
I said softly.
Thank you. See, my family are all down and out street cats. We have no home, not much to eat and only have each other.
His face reddened even further. And now that it's my first heat cycle, we can't even afford heat blockers.
Ah, I see. So you're in full heat right now because you can't afford the pills to block it?
His beautiful, soulful eyes barely touched mine for just a heartbeat as he nodded and then turned away.
If that disqualifies me from the job, just let me know and I'll leave now.
He started to get up. I felt so sorry for the cat. It was obvious that he had lived a tough life. All he needed was a leg up in the world. And I thought that maybe I could give him that.
No, no.
I said. I'm intrigued by your honesty. Please, tell me more about yourself.
The omega hopefully looked up at me. Really? You don't want me to leave?
I shook my head.
But what about my unmasked scent and my dirty clothes? Surely, you don't want me working here in these conditions.
He did have a point. But I had an idea. "I'll tell you what. You
