About this ebook

Calvin

I want babies. Lots of them. But my boyfriend, Dale, doesn't. He wants to be free of all responsibilities.

I'm an omega who is curious about the world. I don't want to be constrained in the caste system my clan has set up.

Arguing with Dale about the future of our babies, a large, powerful were-jaguar leaps in front of the car and Dale is unable to avoid him.

The moment I saw the poor thing, I fell in love with him. Something about his scent pulled me to him.

But I wasn't ready for another domineering alpha. I already had one.

Until Dale showed his true colors.

Now I must help my beloved and clan escape from the same men who stole Jason's memories.

Will Jason get his memories back? What will I do if he turns out to be like all the others.

I don't know if I can raise all these babies myself.

Jason

I'm a Jaguar on the run. I know not who I'm running from or where I'm running to. My memories have been stolen from me. I vow to recover them.

But first, I must shake off these infernal hounds nipping at my heels.

I sprint to the main road, hoping beyond hope that I can flag someone down who can spirit me away from this madness.

But I mis-time my leap and - completely exhausted - can not avoid the oncoming car.

Darkness envelops me.

This story contains an HEA, Mpreg, and babies at the end. Cute babies. Insufferable little tykes that get into all sorts of trouble.

Jason

Run! Push yourself! Jason urged his tired legs faster as the ground fled under his paws. The baying howls of hounds followed him. He wasn't scared of the large dogs. It was the troopers that made him push on faster.

Get him, boys! A man's voice echoed through the night air.

The hounds ringing calls told Jason they were nearly upon him. A deep, rumbling growl ebbed from his throat as the were-jaguar desired to fight. The alphas would be a match for him with their high-tech rifles, which could take down even the strongest were-beasts. But he was out of options.

Jason took great gulps of air into his burning lungs. The black were-jaguar knew he'd have to battle his foes soon. It was a fact that all were-cats weren't big into stamina, but brute strength and cunning.

He bounded on for another hundred yards, then retraced his steps and leaped high into the tall tree. Jason waited, watching for the hounds and the troopers to pass under him. Gulping air deep into his lungs, he attempted to calm his pounding heart.

He's got to be giving out. One trooper said, passing underneath the large, powerful were-jaguar, following the hounds.

No matter, we've got to get him back. He's our prized project. If he escapes… The two men disappeared into the distance as the roar of the hounds echoed through the wood.

The hounds' infernal baying soon faded and Jason listened, wondering if his trick would work. An instinctive urge compelled him to move on by leaping through the trees. Jason fought his instinct, knowing they'd be after him.

Find him! The commander shouted. He can't be far! Search the forest. He can't escape!

Yes, sir. The others knew of the importance of capturing him.

Why do you want me so much? Jason shook his head, attempting to conjure up any memory of his past. There was a large gaping black abyss that had swallowed his memory.

Cold claws of fear gripped around his heart. Jason controlled his fuming fury at losing who he was and vowed to find the answers. For now, he'd escape, then decide what to do. This wasn't the time to ponder why he had no recollection of his past.

He'd have to forge a new identity and a life.

The were-jaguar leaped from one tree to another as he made his way to the outer grounds of the compound. Instinct led him and as he jumped to another tree, he saw a tall electrical fence.

Growling, he grabbed a log and rushed across the field that separated the forest from the pines. When he drew close to the barrier, he threw the log toward it. The log smashed into the electrical fence with a big thunderous explosion.

Jason ducked down, avoiding the electric storm and sparks. When the vibrations were silenced, he stood and raced out the fence. Even though he was short of breath and exhausted from running, he didn't quit.

The dogs headed toward the noise of the explosion. He could hear the men's voices in the distance, approaching fast. He growled and rushed through the opening and toward the lone highway.

Claws of pain ripped through his sides and his muscles cried out for rest. Pushing past the pain, he jogged on. He knew he had to fight the hounds, but could he do it before the men joined the fight? That was the question.

He rushed toward the highway, perhaps toward his freedom. Jason heard a lone car racing down the road and ran toward the sound. He prayed they'd stop.

Calvin

How can you say that! Calvin demanded as he glared at his boyfriend.

I'm working two jobs to support myself. I don't want us to have any litters at all. His boyfriend's words rang in Calvin's
