I’m not going to deny it. I used to be that guy. You know—the one who automatically disregarded all content revolving around bigfoot, dogmen, and anything else that resembled them. I always looked at this stuff like a bunch of dimwits created it to entertain other dimwits. So, I would first like to apologize for not giving this stuff the time of day. It now feels embarrassing. It’s not as though the subject matter was popping up daily, providing regular opportunities to reject it, but I never cared to read up on any of it because I assumed it was bull crap. This is coming from someone who is a police officer and has seen some pretty wild stuff that you and many others probably wouldn’t believe. Still, I had closed myself off to that stuff about cryptids since long before I can remember.

Now, you might be wondering why the change of heart. How could I go from being that guy to this guy? Well, the answer is pretty simple: I encountered a bigfoot. And believe it or not, I’ve had several sightings up to this point. You’ll come to understand why it’s been a relatively common occurrence as you learn more about me. The first encounter was so up close and personal that it left no wiggle room for my skeptical mind. These things are out there, likely in closer proximity than most people think, and there’s nothing any of us can say to change that reality. So, instead of attempting to come up with some stupid reason for why I didn’t truly experience what I know I did, I decided to do something a bit more productive: to gather the most enticing encounter stories
