Once More...
Many people have been in a situation where giving up seemed like such an easy option. We were worn out, unable to make a move, breathe, or function in any way, shape, form, or fashion. The travesty of this mindset is that we are so self-absorbed that we fail to see we always have at least one option. Not everyone has the same option, but we all have one option. The following book was written with that in mind. Before we give up, we have to be willing to see our options…once more.

TABLE OF CONTENTS
#1: Hope
Hope, by definition, is desire accompanied by expectation. When what we want and expect come together, we have hope. Who can say they have never been in a position where their hope seemed crazy to others?
We hope because it drives us forward. We hope because it helps us embrace the thought that we do not have to continue wasting away in a bad situation. We hope because today may be disastrous, but tomorrow will be glorious.
Moments in our lives will threaten to break us. They will flirt with tearing us apart on the inside, or even the outside. As they do, hope. Times are tough, but our willingness to hold out hope is tougher. Make a decision in this moment to eradicate the doubt that life will not improve. Make a point to write down something to look forward to each day, to simply bring it out as a reminder of what is cherished. This will help keep us in forward-motion. So, hope…once more.
Points to Ponder:
What do you hope in?
When was the last moment your hope was challenged? How did you get through it?
What do you need to do to move forward?
#2: Breathe
Each breath we take is a gift. From the first breath we take when we are born, we are only given a certain number of breaths…no more, no less. Each breath has to count – not mathematically, but purposefully. Each breath we have, we need to exhale victory over the problems we face, encourage those who are struggling, ignite passion into the apathetic, and speak peace over the anger that threatens to overcome us.
There will be times when breathing is difficult, labored. Breathing can be impossible, at least in our minds, if we fail to realize the gift of each one. With each morning, and at the end of each day, be thankful for each breath, and breathe…once more.
Points to Ponder:
What are the times you have difficulty breathing?
What do you need to exhale victory over?
Who is the person you need to speak peace over the most right now?
#3: Rise up
Tough times in our lives leave us helpless, hopeless, powerless, and overwhelmed. We may search quickly for ways to give up. We take even longer to find ways to keep trying. These moments sometimes give us preparation time. They come in the form of surprises so many times.
When we are caught off-guard, we are incredibly uncomfortable. We lack self-confidence. Comfort creates confidence, but we have to be uncomfortable before we are comfortable.
In the midst of this trial, we
