Religious Notes and Thoughts on Sundry Topics Vol. 1

About this ebook
This little book is a small and humble work, submitted by the author, and one I believe you will enjoy if you take the time to read it. If after reading this work, you do not like the premise due to the writer's sense of perspective, perhaps you will enjoy his exposition of difficult religious precepts, explaining religious concepts in theological common sense that all readers can understand and relate to. This work while small, is the author's ongoing and personal dedication to the love of God, and the spreading of His word in plain and simple conversational language.
I hope you enjoy.

Please be cognizant, my dear reader and friend, that the thoughts and notes I portray in this work, consist only of my personal faith-based perspectives and opinions. I merely wish for you to read and hopefully gain a different or alternative point of view if you might be so inclined. I have read and learned a great amount of things pertaining to religious topics and worldly concern, and I simply wish to share it back to the world in my own unique way. It is important for you to understand that I do not speak for the entirety of any church or religion, nor do I profess to be an authority on anything, save my own personal experiences. I am proudly, a practicing and believing Seventh Day Adventist, but I ask that you please ensure that you only accept anything I say or stipulate as in accordance with the Express Word of God; that is, The Holy Bible, and The Holy Bible only. You must read and study the Word of God for yourself. A wealth and treasure of knowledge and understanding awaits you by simply taking your Bible and opening it up to read it. Please do not listen to alluring fantasy or tales of things that aren’t in line with Biblical premise, and I urge you to never take the words of anyone, including this or any other work as doctrinal fact, without first prayerfully studying and verifying every bit of it by the Word of God, our sole authority and spiritual guide.

Foreword and Purpose of This Work
My Dearest Reader,
How lovely it is to share my thoughts and words with you! I am truly convinced that you were indeed meant to read my humble submission, else you would not have had the opportunity, even if time permitted it. I am always secure in the point, that reading another’s work is the highest honor you can give someone; for each moment you are alive is precious, and I will never take that concept for granted. Truly, your time is most important and valuable to me, and for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Now the wonderful thing about writing, is that you are allowed the premise of showcasing your express opinion in lengthy exposition. No other medium affords this level of intellectual discourse like writing, and no other medium ever will. I write from the sheer feeling of freedom and openness it brings me, and I do so, knowing in heart that my words, even when I have long passed, shall remain immortalized in a record somewhere by those of whom I share a close or familial relationship.
That being said, I have not published this small work only to write or publish these words for mere publishing sake. I am fully determined to reach and persuade as many as I can to the side of accurate Biblical principles and faith-based precedent. This entire medium and work, in its full form, is but one of the ways I have chosen to witness and share the gospel message and the love of Jesus to the world.
As such, I will continue to use my talents in this way for as long as I can, and I am of the humble opinion, that God will always lead who He wishes to read these words, directly to my books and efforts, and I will never write to make money or profit. If you are holding this small book in your hand right now, it is because as the author, I have chosen in full fervence to give it away for free, and it will remain my deepest pleasure to do so as much as I can.
Now the intent and purpose of this work is one of sharing and expression. I have, over time, written down religious notes and thoughts on sundry topics that we encounter from time to time in this life, and I finally felt it was enough to present it as a volume in a small book. As with all of my other previous and possibly future work, I have chosen to self-publish as a method to get my work out there without slothful waiting, erroneous delay or unfair pre-judgement.
I truly feel, that if my work is to be scrutinized, let it be scrutinized by the large outside world, with wonderful people like you reading these words, and not just a few unscrupulous men or women in a closed-off room, holding the gateway to traditional publishing as a means of determining who gets to showcase their work to the world. I have said it a thousand times, and I will say it a thousand times more. I thank God for self-publishing. I can share my words with you without fear of someone editing or altering my efforts to suit their own narrative outside of my personal perspective.
I can both proudly and happily state, that what you read in this and in all of my work, is and always will be, what I have written, word for word. What you see in this work, is what I duly intended for you to read. From the thoughts in my mind, to your beautiful and lovely eyes, I am determined to translate to you my emotions, intent and perspective, so that you can know exactly how I feel in everything I portray.
As I have been taught, so too, I wish to teach and spread likewise in return. This I feel is right. Let us never forget that knowledge comes from God. He gives light to us freely and abundantly, and when we learn things, or perhaps see it from a different perspective, we should jump at the opportunity to share what we know and perceive to the world, keeping in line with the premise that everything we teach or share must be in accordance with the Word of God.
However, I am personally cognizant, that some may, in the course of reading this work, come upon various passages that they may not agree with, or may be opposed to. Perhaps some religious concept or doctrinal sentiment expressed may make someone out there irritated and upset. However, I ask that you judge the work not by what you dislike, but rather by its alignment with biblical principles. For those wishing to express this zeal, I ask that you argue to me only in this regard, and let that be your source of ire with me if you shall come to discover any such passage. I love to have spirited discussions on the Word of God, and anyone willing to engage on this front is cherished and special to me, regardless of perspective or insight, as long as you argue in good faith.
Notwithstanding this, I do hope that you find a close, empathetic agreement with many of the words and thoughts expressed in this book, and I pray that it helps in some way relevant to your Christian journey.
And so, Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
Notes on Alternative Lifestyle Choices
T
he conception of alternative lifestyle choice is not something new, as it has existed since early Bible times. However, due to religious belief along with personal values, traditions and new precedent, it remains a hotly debated topic to this very day. Many people, many good people, are stuck between their belief in what the Bible says, and their willingness to be open and understanding. Many state their opinion and mean no harm by it, while many are malicious and callous in their thoughts and their imaginations.
Before I go further, I just want to say, that if in the course of this discussion, you become offended by my refusal to conform to grammatical inconsistencies, which are often allocated to the new gender dispositions we now so frequently see, adhering to specific pronouns and a restructuring of closed, designated labels addressing man and woman in its traditional Bible sense; then you must know that my purpose is not to exclude based on any sort of phobia or hate-inspired license, but only of a desire to strictly present to you the terms of my belief as the Bible states, which is my sole and only guide.
I am and always will be, open and inclusive of all, and I support the rights and freedoms of all.
However, it is simply unfair to ask people to live and address others solely by pronouns. I will not say that I do not understand the reasoning and purpose behind the present movement’s call to address people with their preferred labels, however for myself, I find that this often results in confusing and inaccurate grammar and speech, even if the goal is to promote awareness of their rightful sense of self-uniqueness and pietal expression.
I am all for choosing what you want, as this is a God-given right, and all are free to refer to themselves however they wish; but any push towards forcing others to inconsistently and dynamically change their established language to suit a passing whim or modified label, which may indeed change by the next day
