The Highway of Life: A Novella.

About this ebook
Come and travel with me, as I take you on a journey. A journey that we all share in. The journey of travelling down the "Highway of Life".
Here, in this short work, I examine life as within a dream, a wonderfully vivid and poignant dream, going through hallmarks we are all familiar with. I look at life through a philosophical mirror, making realizations as I go along, identifying with our own experiences and views as we travel this unfamiliar road.
This short work was really fun to write, and also a very special one for me. I truly believe the story was well written, and if you take the time to read it, I guarantee a worthwhile and enjoyable read.
Thank you and Enjoy!

Foreword
My Dearest Reader,
Thank you so much for choosing to read my book! I am eternally grateful for you. I only hope that I can provide you with such entertainment that will give you an enjoyable read in a short sitting.
This story was something I wanted to write as a personal reflection/philosophical piece. I often have strange and fantastical dreams, many I forget, and some, as with most people, I remember. The nature of my dreams often make little to no sense, but every so once in a while I get something. Something that makes me regard life, happiness, and what we feel we are truly living for.
I try to answer some of life’s questions, along with describing many of the events of our lives and how we often react to the experiences we live through.
This story, although brief, is packed with lessons for those who, as I have, gone through many of the events described in this short work. I really like how it came out, and I hope at the very least, you enjoy the philosophical and pertinent imagery of life in this simple portrayal.
I truly hope you enjoy,
-Kingsley

uriously, in my ethereal dreams, that is, in my ephemeral moments of unconscious sleep, I found that I presently became aware of myself driving on a lonely, but somewhat well-lit highway. The moon had risen and was full, and the light shined softly amongst the treetops and pathway, almost appearing to drench the entire land with a calm, melting glow. This in conjunction with the trees in the distance, provided a wondrous backdrop of scenery of which to drive along with. Being that I had cultivated the skill of aesthetic appreciation
