My Dearest Reader,

Thank you so much for choosing to read my book! I am eternally grateful for you. I only hope that I can provide you with such entertainment that will give you an enjoyable read in a short sitting.

This story was a depressing one! I had initially wanted to leave this story out of my compilational work altogether, and instead keep it as perhaps an unreleased work, but after thinking about it, I decided to publish it with the rest of my work. The story has a valuable lesson inside, and it is something I felt should be shared.
