It’s All About the Heart
()
About this ebook
Our hearts are so important and it is quite amazing that not much is said about them. The Bible tells us to keep our hearts with all diligence for a reason.
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Proverbs 4:23).
The heart is the seat of our belief system (Romans 10:10), so we must be very careful about what we expose our hearts to.
This book will look at different types of hearts, lessons from some people in the Bible, the importance of having and maintaining a tender heart, warnings about the heart, and much more.

Afterword
To Jesus Christ my Lord and saviour; to Him alone that laid down His life that l might have life eternal. To Him that lead captivity captive and gave gifts unto men (Ephesians 4; 8). One of those gifts is writing!.
Why The Heart?
Our hearts are so important and it is quite amazing that not much is said about them. The Bible tells us to keep our hearts with all diligence for a reason.
"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." (Proverbs 4:23).
It would have been good enough if the scriptures tell us to keep our hearts with diligence
but it says keep your heart with ALL diligence
. In other words, we must not be negligent when it comes to issues of our hearts.
To keep this in context, it simply means we must guard what affects our hearts. We also need to protect our hearts from things that can hurt them.
Could this be a reason why the Bible says, Abstain from all appearance of evil
(1 Thess 5:22). Notice that you do not need to go and taste to see if it is evil. Once it has the appearance of evil, we are told to flee from it.
The heart is the seat of our
