Different Ways To Receive Healing From Scripture and Walk in Health - Bisi Oladipupo
Dedication
To Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour—to Him alone that laid down His life that l might have life eternal. To Him that led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men (Ephesians 4:8). One of those gifts is writing!
Foreword
Scripture makes it very clear that healing belongs to us.
Here are just a few scriptures to confirm this:
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" (3 John 2).
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24).
So, it is clear from Scripture that healing belongs to us, as Jesus Christ has already borne all our sicknesses.
When it comes to the salvation that makes Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour of our lives, many people effortlessly understand this.
Once again, Scripture makes it explicit what sinner needs to do to come to Christ Jesus.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10).
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Many of us have heard a wide variety of testimonies of how people came to know the Lord. Some just called upon the Lord in their living rooms; some came out and responded to an altar call, while others just cried out to the Lord from wherever they were. The response from the Lord is the same.
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).
When it comes
