Drado Speaks - Derrick Woodard
Orbs
I have my eye on you like the optometry of a cyclops.
I’m going to execute my plan on you that is as secure as Fort Knox.
You can say my plan is so brilliant it’s Machiavellian.
Don’t get any smart ideas because I came prepped for any mutiny or rebellion.
I’m just bidding my time as the hourglass fills with the black sand.
Flipped by the black hands; of this black man, to tear you apart like black strands.
So you wanted to watch my world burn; and enjoy the devastation.
Revel like devils you raunchy beady-eyed rebels; as you watch the torture to curry your admiration.
Is he friend or fiend; nightmare or dream?
The deejay is playing the somber music behind the scenes.
The innovator of schemes; the manipulator by any means.
Who is this man and why does he have to take it to these extremes?
Do I have your attention now? Are you entangled?
In this web I have spawned; has the pendulum dangled?
Have your eyes glazed over; have my words captivated?
Or am I still in your hearts doomed to walk the earth ignored and underrated?
But now I capture my enemies inside of these orbs.
And wash my hands clean from where in my skin they have absorbed.
And keep them in a bag that is tied around my waist.
That is not evil that is retribution taking place.
I can release them when I wanna, but I’m not gonna.
Even though I know the inside makes them sweat like a sauna.
How does it feel to be trapped in something the size of a marble?
How I got them in there; now that is the real marvel.
This is not witchcraft or voodoo.
My motives for doing this, you have no clue; do you?
So before you start judging and analyzing.
Know I have plenty of room in this bag for you; you think I’m lying?
So the real question is do you respect your captor?
Take the time to suffer as I did; reality bites as the teeth of a raptor.
It’s hot and stuffy and you beg for and want ventilation.
But showing me mercy was never part of the equation.
So sweat it out from your tiny glass enclosure.
Let’s see how long you last before you lose your composure.
I see your family and friends have arrived to try to seek my favor.
Yes I have your love ones in a bag now. How much will you wager?
But now I capture my enemies inside of these orbs.
And wash my hands clean from where in my skin they have absorbed.
And keep them in a bag that is tied around my waist.
That is not evil that is retribution taking place.
Ventriloquist
Call me the puppeteer, but I’m not pulling strings.
But I can make your lips move; your eyes blink; and I can make you sing.
You’re looking at the audience with that goofy look on your faces.
You’re traveling around in my suitcase; we’ve toured so many places.
Spotlight; as the audience laughs and are busting their guts.
My cold hand up your spine has you going nuts.
The heat from the lights has you really sweaty.
But I am here to entertain; lights, camera, action; I am ready.
So how do you like your diamond-patterned sweater.
You want to ask why you are here; but this lesson is to learn you better.
You made her live in fear because you were controlling.
Now shut up dummy let’s keep the audience on the floor and rolling.
She couldn’t move or do anything without your consent or permission.
Now someone is controlling you; how do you like fear and submission?
So let me make you wave at her; the one you use to slap.
Now how does it feel being controlled from my lap?
Ventriloquist, Ventriloquist.
My cold hand up your spine as I make a fist.
Shut up and obey and we can coexist.
You can’t say anything unless I say that or this.
I can make your eyes move; I can make you dance.
I can make you wear that sweater with the holes in your pants.
You look at me from a sunken place and you’re wondering why.
I’m trapped inside of a dummy and I want to die.
But you deserve it all for all the years you caused her pain.
So shut up and look from side to side; smile and entertain.
"Don’t let her leave this auditorium without her knowing I’m apologetic.
I’ve been less than a man and downright pathetic.
I can’t blame no one or nothing for my actions not even that smoked synthetic.
And I don’t blame her if she is not sympathetic."
"But I’m sorry, damn it I’m sorry; why did I have to be in control?
Why did I hurt the one I said was the mate to my soul?
I know that I deserve this wooden prison that I’m in.
But let me go and hold my love again."
"I’m tired of only seeing darkness from that box.
I’m tired of not caressing her body and running my fingers in her locks.
Yes I know I’ve been hostile to the girl of my dreams.
Release me; for your hands are crushing my spine and spleen."
Didn’t I say shut up? All of the lies you told over and over.
Many times you revealed you were nothing more than a hideous ogre.
How long she lasted with you and maintained her composure.
So back in the suitcase and give her some closure.
Ventriloquist, Ventriloquist.
My cold hand up your spine as I make a fist.
