A Quick Note on my Mental State
Alcoholic
stupor…maybe.
I believe in a god, but today
it’s you, who
will help keep it together.
Here You Are
Causality is the frontispiece of today
because you have gotten somewhere
not many people get to (as easily)
due, mainly, to a series of events
outside the realm of fate, supposedly.
So today you can look backward
and get a clear sense of what is now.
And remember sometimes that cause
does not have an effect, but
sometimes cause becomes fate,
ergo where you are
and where you are going to be.
And in the dark nights ahead
while drifting through
recollections of the past and
delicate dreams of tomorrow,
you can think of warm skin and laughter
and the thrill of seeing something
you want so badly and know,
that after much cause and effect
(and a little favor of fate),
you will have it.
And here you are.

Some say discretion
is the latter part
of your stout valor;
tell me,
will you hold
