    Chapter 1

    When Will Jesus Come?

    Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

    In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

    And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1–3)

    And when he had spoken these things while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

    And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

    Which also said, ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (Acts 1:9–11)

    John 14:1–3 is the rapture, and Acts 1:9–11 is the Second Coming of Christ. These are two separate events, and in between these two events is the tribulation which is seven years. All three of these events, the rapture, the tribulation, and the Second Coming of Christ, take place in the same time period, and the Bible gives us the time period in which they will be fulfilled.

    The specific day and hour of the coming of the Lord…no one knows, but the Bible gives us the time period of the coming of the Lord. For example, a woman who is pregnant can tell you when she will have her baby based upon the beginning of her pregnancy. But she cannot tell you the specific day and hour of her delivery; so it is with the Coming of the Lord, the Scriptures reveal the time period of the coming of the Lord but not the day and hour.

    The book of Revelation, the book of Daniel, Matthew chapter 24, the Psalms, and other books of the Bible give us the time period of the coming of the Lord.

    The Six Day Theory

    The six day theory is not a theory at all but a revelation from the scriptures. The six days of work (creation or recreation) recorded in Genesis 1:3–31 and the day God rested, the seventh day, symbolically represents seven millenniums or seven thousand years.

    But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a
