A Tale Of Two Sisters, a Wedding, and a Birth

About this ebook
As a mother/wedding professional, Sandra tells how she went from stressing over not being in two places at one time to regaining her inner peace. Through songs of inspiration, Scripture, a little humor, and dozens of practical tips on wedding planning and getting through a stressful situation, she shows the way to anyone who does not have a personal relationship with God. In all her years of attending church service, she never once recalls hearing a sermon about God's sense of humor; He must have one because of the many minor issues that she experienced.
This book is intended to make the reader laugh and/or provoke thought while, in retrospect, make a difference in the lives of others. Our lives are filled with lots of uncertainty. In these pages you will get the sense that a personal relationship with God begins today, and it begins the moment we realize our need for Him. We cannot predict that what we have planned is actually going to turn out the way we planned it even though we hire professionals to make it so. But if we could slow down the pace, thereby giving us a little time to quiet ourselves before God, in essence, we will be moved by the Holy Spirit without us even being aware of it.
Sandra experienced the fact that sometimes God calms the storm and sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His child. In this instance, He calmed His child, and He made everything all right.
Also, Sandra wants wedding planners, brides, and mothers of brides to read her book and get inspiration and know that things happen, but with your faith in God, things will work out in the end.

Preface
This book is based on true events and how one mother triumphed over a stressful situation and counted it all joy. Sandra, the mother of her only two daughters, had two major exciting events in their lives, and they both happened on the same day very unexpectedly.
It shows how a mother’s love and trust in God pulls her through this day, knowing that she is only one person and cannot be in two places at once. This book is not only how I handled that day and how my faith in God pulled me through, but how my daughters, each in their own way, dealt with the other’s special day.
There is a verse in the Bible that reads, There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it
(1 Corinthians 10:13). In my words, He made a way for me to bear everything that day and the next day.
By writing this book, my desire is to bless someone with my experience because I believe God can take one person’s trial and bless somebody else. God tests people. This was not easy by any means. I might have looked like I had it under control, but without my trust in God, I would have crashed and burned.
I read an article that said the gospel of Jesus Christ is the plan whereby we can become what God wants us to become. In fact, we become great people because of our trials, not in spite of them. It further stated that you can benefit from trials if you develop a personal relationship with God, and I have that relationship. I am convinced that is what brought me through this particular day. Everyone has challenges. Live with integrity, be patient, and make the best of your situation.
This was a test—my test. There have been many, and I did not pass them all. I had to put all my trust in God and come to realize it was Him and Him alone that I had to put my trust in. Not Momma, not Daddy, not friends; only God. I believe that when God brings a storm, it must be meant to bring us closer to Him. I wondered, why me? I told God, I’m going through this divorce, and I’m trying to be a good person even though my mind is telling me to do some things to get back at him for breaking up our once happy home. Why am I going through this? Will I ever see sunshine?
I was feeling like surely storms just do not pick on me; storms touch everyone living on the face of this earth.
Are you ready for your test? Get ready; it will come. It may be anything—an unexpected illness, the death of a loved one, the loss of your job, or even
