They reside in a small town in southeast Tennessee. She attended Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tennessee and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She received her graduate degree from Tennessee Technological University with a Masters in Arts in Instructional Leadership.
