About this ebook

"When God the great creator, Saw there was a need, He took a measure of His love, And formed a tiny seed." The tiny seed is a symbol of our humanity given with His love. He made us all different. In my life I have been mad at Him, forgotten Him, disobeyed Him and still He has never left me. I pray you find your savior. It is simple - all you have to do is call His name.

God Loves Dandelions Too - Sandra Marie

    Dandelions Too!

The world is filled with splendor,

    we needn’t look too far.

    From tiny ants to mountains,

from an earthworm to a star.

And in this world of beauty,

    I have often pondered why,

God even dared to put here,

    a creature such as I.

I see the lilies in the field,

the rows of wheat for bread.

He could have made new wonders,

    yet He created me instead.

But as I look out in my yard,

    all fresh with morning dew,

I see their little yellow heads,

    and God loves dandelions too!

    Alone

How can children be so cruel

how can they treat her so.

Why would they hurt the feelings,

    of someone they hardly know.

All alone in the play yard,

skipping a stone on the ground.

    If she becomes invisible,

they won’t know that she’s around.

O how she aches for friendship,

just someone to share the day.

Yet all they do is call her names,

    they never let her play.

She’s not like the rest of them,

a bit shy, but quick to grin.

How she could enrich their games,

if they’d only let her in.

I can’t be with her Lord,

each day she goes to school.

I can’t erase the pain she feels,

cause they forget the golden rule.

But I can pray with all my heart,

    an angel you will send,

And just for one glad hour,

    her loneliness will end.

    A Little ’Bout Me

I can never find my car keys,

or a lipstick in my purse.

And the pencils seem to disappear

when I get inspired for a verse.

I’m not big on social life,

    it exhausts me heaven knows.

And long before the evening ends,

    my yawning always shows.

    I like thunderstorms and babies,

    ocean breezes, baking bread.

I hate it when I’m crabby,

I like clean sheets upon the bed.

    I like Boehm’s chocolate turtles,

pecan ice cream, books to read.

I hate long lines and waiting,

I have a tendency to speed.

There are multitudes of things I am

and things that I am not.

The good ones I will tell you,

    the bad ones I forgot.

But I’d like to be remembered,

as someone who tried to share,

That God is warm and beautiful,

    and that he’s always there.

    Joseph’s Prayer

This journey’s been a long one,

    for Mary big with child.

Help us find a place soon,

    so she may rest awhile.

I know now why you chose her,

to be the mother of your Son.

    For her gentle, loving spirit,

    touches everyone.

You could have picked a better man,

    someone more qualified.

I wish I were more worthy,

    Of such a special bride.

I can’t give him kingly mansions,

I’m just a lowly, simple man.

All I’ve got is love Lord,

    and a willing, faithful hand.

The honor that you gave me,

was yours alone God to bestow.

    Help me cherish every moment,

before it’s time to let him go.

    Abandoned

    Her children say she’s failing,

    too old to be alone.

And busy with their own lives,

they put her in a home.

    She’s always by herself now,

    they don’t come much anymore.

    She doesn’t entertain them,

    so it’s
