Let Not His Sacrifice Be in Vain - Thomas Kruger (The Poet)
Rock-Solid Promises
When you became a Christian
Walking forward in the footsteps of Christ,
Don’t ever look back
Remember Lot’s wife
We are on the upward road
Rejoicing all the way,
As we walk with Jesus
Every blessed God-given day
There will be rocky roads
That we will have to walk around,
But with Jesus in our hearts
We will continue to walk God’s paths of sacred ground
His promises
Are held dear to our heart,
He has promised to every saved soul
To never from them to depart
His promises
Are rock-solid, pure and true,
He is preparing a home for us
For when our life here on Earth is through
But for now
We are to keep reaching out to the lost,
Reaching out to gather in the crops
That they may receive the gift that he purchased upon that old rugged cross
He has, with all his gifts to us,
Given to each of us a special way to reach out and draw others in,
That they may one day rejoice in heaven
With all their past friends and kin.

Praise God
Walk the walk and live the talk
As you forever of a Christian be,
As you share God’s Word that you have read or heard
From sea to shining sea
Life in Jesus here on Earth
Is a foretaste of the eternal life of one day yet to come,
We will serve the Lord God of heaven
Till our days on Earth are over and done
God continually reaches out to us with love
As we reach out to one day be forever with him,
He does his part as we do our part
That we may usher searching souls in
I was forty years old
Before I gave my heart to Jesus,
It took a miracle to lead me in
And now, forty-three years later, I’m still writing
Of which, as long as I live and pray, I hope will never end
O what a foretaste of glory divine
That I am his and that he is mine,
And shall ever be
As long as I walk that straight-and-narrow line
He lifted me out of the dung hill
And placed within me a new heart,
With a promise of wonderfully divine
To never from me to depart
Praise God
Through whom all blessings flow,
As we one day praise his angels in heaven above
As for now we praise those here on Earth below.

Baptism and the Altar of Grace
O what unmerited favor
That God offers for each one of us.
That can only be obtained through the shed blood
Of his only begotten son, Christ Jesus
How can we neglect so great of salvation
That God offers to each and every repentant soul?
To all who have knelt down at the altar of grace
And been baptized down at a cleansing water hole
With a new beginning
You will have a new life to start,
As you live to the full
Life with a brand-new cleansed heart
Saving grace
O what a gift of o so very precious;
A gift that we scarce can take it in
As we use our gifts that God has given to us
Of what Jesus said unto Peter
And of which twice he did repeat,
Of three words
Feed my sheep.
This is a lesson for each of us
That we must also remember to do,
As we grow in that closer walk with Jesus
As he continues of this world to guide us through
We were born again
To serve our risen savior,
Who, with his own blood
Washes souls, clean and pure.
