About this ebook

Pearls from the Throne is a collection of poems written through the years, inspired by the Holy Spirit. Many were written as I sat in the presence of God in camp meeting services in Ashland, Virginia, under the ministry of Ruth Carneal, Jane Lowder, Wallace Heflin, Jr., Ruth Heflin, and others. Some poems were written to encourage close friends. Some gave honor to people who had a big part in my spiritual walk. Some speak of nations, some of familiar Bible stories. There are some special poems that God gave me while on a mission trip to Africa in 1990, giving a clarity and simplicity to the Gospel. I pray that all who read these words will be blessed and challenged to know the Lord in a greater way.

    Dedication

I dedicate this book, first of all, to my Mother, Winnie Frances Clemmons, who went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2006. Her deep love for God and her family was a great example to me. She helped me grow strong in my walk with the Lord and encouraged me to serve Him with passion. Her prayers and love brought me through many difficult times. Thank you, Mama. I’ll always love you.

I also want to dedicate this book to Rev. Ruth E. Carneal, with whom I worked closely when I lived at Calvary Pentecostal Campground in Ashland, Virginia while doing my missionary training. The anointing she walks in inspired many of the poems in this book. Thank you for all of the impartation and guidance I received from you.

I also dedicate this book to my Pastor, Rev. Barbara Dellano. Thank you for your love, prayers, encouragement, and your wonderful leadership. You are a great woman of God and a great example to me.

There are others who have had a direct influence in my life through their love, friendships, travels, prayers, and impartations through the years. I am deeply grateful for the part that each one has had in shaping and molding my life and getting me to where I am today.

Thank you and may God bless you all!
