    Day 1

    There are lots of prayers and lots of people who prayed throughout the Bible.

    God gives us instructions.

    The Lord’s prayer.

    Jesus spoke to his disciples and a crowd one day.

    This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. (Matthew 6:9–13)

    Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

    Today, pray to the Father in heaven and praise him. Hallowed is he. Thank him today for his creation and for his majesty. Praise and honor him in prayer for his omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience. He is our all-powerful God. He is our Abba, Father.

    Day 2

    This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread.
