Foreword

This book was written to inspire and help families who have lost a child, especially an infant. To let you know, a healing can take place if you put the memory in your heart and Jesus on your mind. Rejoice, your child is alive and well, in the Lord. He or she is watching over you, praying for your pain to turn into comfort and joy. Let Christ Jesus take it from you. You can have peace again. It doesn’t seem true, but it can be, if you let it.

You will never stop thinking about your child, but Jesus will put the pain in a place where a smile will come instead of a frown.

My Birthday

Hi, I am Tre’, welcome to my story. Some say, my life was short, but I found out it’s eternal. People say that a baby becomes real at six months, others say when their born. I know they’re wrong because this small voice told me I was real from the start. I was afraid when I heard him. I asked him who he was. He only said, This is Papa, Your God, don’t be afraid; I AM with you, rest now. At that moment, I was at ease.

For the next two months, Papa talked to me saying I was loved and wanted. See, I’m one of three babies being born to this one family.

There’s a girl and another boy. Papa told me how excited my family is about it. At first, my mom and dad were nervous, but the family gathered around them in support. Papa said I was fearfully and wonderfully made, can you imagine that.

It’s been three months now, my heart is beating strong, and today is the day they see me. I’m taking pictures today. I’ll be a male model, turning this way and that. She’ll see my heart, head, stomach, and feet. I’ll try to wave to her. We’re getting started now, I want to play hide and seek. Here I go, Ma, nope, you’re too slow I’m gone! I winked at her, hope she saw that. Boy, this lady is really trying to find me. She’s good at what she does. Look, Dad, I have hands! I could do this all day. Oh, she almost caught me just now. I’ll do some sit-ups while they try to keep me in focus. Legs up, oops, she got me, she knows I’m a boy. Arms up and out … man, am I tired. One day we’ll sit down and laugh about this.
