Introduction

A young couple, Connor and Harley Blackwell, went to Aubrey Holmes McCann’s yard sale. This is right before Aubrey moved to Ohio, when she used to live near the Bell View area in Warrington. And when Connor and Harley went to her yard sale, the Blackwells happened to come across two masks. One mask that had a fade of pink to white and had a floral design on the forehead part of the mask. And the other mask had a fade of black to white and had strange symbols all over it. So the young couple found the masks interesting and decided to buy the masks. They had bought the masks because they are unique looking, and they really stood out to them. And then left the yard sale and went home. As the young couple were on their way home, the masks are sitting on the backseat of their car. And without the Blackwells noticing, a new mask appears, it is unusual looking and strangely realistic.

The Blackwells live on Cliffords Avenue in Warrington and they have very few neighbors around their house, and the Blackwells get along with all of their neighbors. Alexander Harrington just happens to be one of their closest neighbors. And Connor Blackwell knew him from the place where they work. Connor Blackwell works for a company that is called PetalStones Entertainment. PetalStones Entertainment is a company that helps people make short films and helps direct them. That is where Connor met Alexander who had been working there for a few years prior. Then as time went on, they got to know each other a little better over the years. And that later developed into a real good friendship. But there was something off about Alexander, or maybe Connor didn’t really know who Alexander really was. Or maybe he was hiding something far more sinister.

Connor Blackwell is twenty-six years old and is a tall man with a medium muscular build and an intelligent person. He is very adaptive to any situation that he is in, but sometimes he’s not so adaptive and we’re all just human at the end of the day. He looks like a handsome nerdy guy with glasses and has blonde hair, along with hazel green eyes.

Harley Blackwell is twenty-five years old and works in a local flower shop also in Warrington and the flower shop is called Floral Gardens. She is also just as intelligent as Connor. She has dark auburn hair color, freckles, and dark brown eye color. Harley and Connor met in Warrington Community College and six years later, they got engaged, two years after that, they got married and lived happily ever since.

Alexander Harrington is forty years old and has really pale-looking skin and also looks like a truck driver. And, at times, he can be a little bit anti-social. Because the only person he has, as a friend, is Connor, so he might act a little overprotective of him. He is around the same height as Connor. He has black hair and eye color.

Jade Hudson is twenty-four years old and is a woman who can be a bit overwhelming at times and you never know what she might be thinking. Because she’s the type of person that’s here for one thing but ends up doing something completely different. She is tall and also the woman who came up with the idea to make a short film called The Secret Admirer. She has dark brown hair and hazel green eyes.

The cast members are extra characters, but they still interact with the main characters. All of the cast members keep the same names as the characters they play, just because I didn’t want to confuse anybody. For example, I put Jasper as one of the cast members and then his real name is Bob and you’re reading the dialogue. And it all of a sudden goes from Jasper to Bob, then you’re left wondering who the fuck is Bob. So I decided to keep it simple.

Elliot Johnson is a colored person and he plays as a chaperone and he is also tall. Katrina is a short girly girl but is a little portly, she has a chill type of personality. Milo is also short and is a laidback kind of person and is also a colored person. Blair likes to be the center of attention and she is also tall. Jasper is like the goofy guy out of the bunch and he is Hispanic and just as tall as Elliot. Anabella is short and the type of person that might take simple things too seriously, but she’ll try not to make it so obvious.

Chapter One

The Masks Find a New Home

I wake up at the break of dawn for work almost every day of the week because PetalStones Entertainment is in need of employees and is a very busy company. I begin each and every day waking up next to my beautiful wife, Harley. But I don’t usually wake her because she sleeps so peacefully and everybody could use a few more minutes of sleep. So I quietly get out of bed and start getting ready for work while quietly making my way to the closet, I pick out a grey suit with a white dress shirt and black dress shoes. Then I go downstairs to the kitchen and make some breakfast for me and Harley. Breakfast is mostly just eggs or waffles or cereal, but most days, she makes breakfast because we almost have the same work hours. Then I’m off to work, it’s usually like an hour or forty-five-minute long drive from my house to work. When I arrive at PetalStones Entertainment, which is on Rosebush Avenue, I am greeted by my friend Alexander Harrington, Alex for short.

Hey, man, it’s that time of day again, said Alex joyfully.

It sure is, said Connor.

Are you ready for our new project we were assigned? said Alex.

Sure! What is it about? said Connor.

"We will be directing a short film called The Secret Admirer, and it is about a group of adults that go on an art trip. They go on an art trip for an art competition, and then they find themselves in a problem when the young adults from the group start to disappear without a trace. And their bodies start to appear in different locations and their bodies have been beaten, tortured, and placed in different positions. All because of a secret admirer who went on the trip with them. The reason was because the admirer was jealous and envious of other people’s artworks," said Alex, eager to start the new project.

That sounds pretty interesting, man, so when do we start this project? said Connor enthusiastically.

Well, I have to get some people to audition for the parts that we need for the short film. And that process could take a while, said Alex.

I’ll try to help you get people to do some auditions, said Connor. After a few hours of working hard and making phone calls, they finally find enough people to do auditions.

We finally gathered a group of twenty to thirty people ready to audition tomorrow, said Connor. As the day turns into night, Connor is feeling overworked and ready to go home.

I guess that’s all for today until tomorrow when the real fun begins, said Alex.

Yeah! But it’s a job well done for now, said Connor as he pats Alex on the back and begins to gather his things to go home for the day.

Have a good night, Connor, said Alex.

Same to you, man, said Connor as he left the building and called his wife.

Hey honey, I just got out of work, how was your day at work? said Connor.

It was a very busy day, but other than that, it was good. How was yours, hun? said Harley.

I just got a new project to work on with Alex. I think this one is going to be a very interesting one. I’ll tell you all about it when I go home, sweetheart, said Connor enthusiastically.
