Introduction

I was an art teacher. I love art and I love God. I happen to think He is the Ultimate Artist. The heavens and earth shine forth an endless array of His Creative Hand. How on earth was He able to create that perfect shade of green on the back of a hummingbird? Where in the world did He come up with the idea for the glorious hue of yellow that shines forth from the morning sun? My sweet Lord is so creative. While I was teaching, I found it effortless to tuck God’s artistry into my lessons. Since God is the Alpha and Omega, the possibilities for His glory to be displayed are endless. Hence this book. I have chosen twenty-six different art styles to graciously and humbly paint a picture of God as if He were each of these artists. For example, if God were an impressionist, what kind would He be?
